I put this in a project guitar (Silvertone Strat Copy) and it worked fine. I would give it 5 stars, but it doesn't come with a diagram at all to let you know which direction to install the switch or which volume/tone pots are for what. I had to study the one that came out of the guitar to figure it out. It would help if everything was marked.

I was amazed how simple it all was to swap out. There was some light soldering. All works great, i was able yo install with no faults. Perfect for my Fender Strat refurbish.

So this comes ready to go. You only need to hook up your pickups and mount the hardware. I had an issue with the switch, but I can say it was very easy to remedy after I found it. The solder tabs on the switch are riveted on. I had a contact issue at this point. But all I did was solder the the tabs to the board, it was very easy. I recommend doing this before you install them so you doubt have to go back in after assembly. Other than that this setup works great. And the price was wonderful. The switch is very firm. So you don’t have to worry about bumping it and losing your pickup selection.

Thought the pots were wrong, but i measured them and they are what they say. A great deal on 500k pots.

I own a Hurricane Susie by Morris . Let's just say it was long overdue. I have a musiclily hotrail blaster at the neck and a Ibanez USAF3 at the bridge. I wired the neck as middle since the middle was finished. Works better then those old parts.

I bought a harness here because soldering is not fun for me, and I am not very good at it. I got this harness for a chinese strat copy, next time I will be ordering a Fender switch regardless of the guitar's origin.The harness I received is not anything like the diagram here. I tried to make it work by just soldering the plug, the bare minimum. I was rewarded with a high pitched squeal that would not stop. The ground wires were going to the wrong places, so I scrapped that junk and made my own harness with some quality 22 gauge copper wire.Since I had to break out my soldering iron and redo most of the wiring, that defeats the purpose of buying a pre-made harness. This also wasted a great deal of my time and made this project stretch out much further than necessary.I should also point out that the wiring diagram posted here will not work. There is no reason for the wire from the hot terminal of the 1st tone pot to the second terminal of the 2nd tone pot. Unnecessary, and definitely not the way I received it.I wish I could give -2 stars for easy to install. I finally got it done, but with a great deal of disappointment and frustration. I almost gave up, but I am too stubborn (or stupid?) to quit.NOT recommended.

Although I only needed 1 tone pot, I got this set-up and cut off one. The switch was good and my guitar's short I couldn't find is now gone. So my guitar is now playing perfect and the short is fixed. If the parts I had on hand would have been used ,it would have me boring holes and alot more soldering.This arrived packaged very nicely and quick. I will buy this if ever I need it again.
