Have you ever tried to use a mini pump on a ride. Think tired frustrated and inpatient. Thank god for c02 cartridges. Well this pump is a big upgrade from a mini pump but it is larger so you have to accommodate that. It is smaller than a frame pump and I think just as effective and efficient. I have a specialized diverge and it just fits in my down tube compartment, hooray no mounting on the bottle cage. It is a light as a mini pump, it has a flexible air hose. I added a small presta/Schrader conversion fitting to eliminate air leakage during hose connection or removal. Works like a charm. 200 pumps to reach 60 lbs in a 38mm tire with no effort! I could see 90 lbs easily achieved on a 25mm with the same effort….don’t need that much as I run tubeless. Compared to a two stage mini pump (bought at same time to compare) 200 pumps for 40 lbs with effort. I thinks to get to 60 lbs on the mini pump would be a challenge. Opportunity for improvement, hose clip in to handle for storage is not firm and it slides out…. Would be concerned for cage mount…can be fixed with a couple wraps of tape. So bottom line… I have confidence I can use this pump quickly and efficiently during a ride when I am hot tired, exhausted, dehydrated, frustrated and inpatient :) and quickly get the pressure I want on a road, gravel or mtb tire.

I bought this to replace my Topeak pumps which seem to not last too long. This one is a bit difficult to attach to valve, but I think it just requires practice. It's light weight, and smaller than my Topeaks. The foot peg is invaluable to really push the air in my high pressure tires. I practiced and was fairly easy to get up to 80 pounds. I usually run 90 to 100 pounds in my road bike.My only concern is that it seems to be all metal and I question what happens when it gets rained on repeatedly while riding my bike....

BOMBA! Consiglio!

My floor pump of many years service had a mishap and I needed to replace it. I also wanted a compact pump I could use to pack with my motorcycle to adjust tire pressures on the road. This pump is not tiny but very compact. I have used it to fill four mountain bike tires so far and raise the air pressure on my motorcycle tires. It obviously doesn't have the volume capacity of the big old floor pump but the mountain bike tires fill quickly and easily whether you use the foot hold or just hold it in your hand. It works well on the motorbike tires too but expect to work a bit harder/longer. It takes about 30 pumps to raise the pressure of the rear tire a couple of psi.The hand hold is comfortable enough but I tend to squeeze the stem between my fingers and after a lot pumping they can get a bit sore. The valve connector retainer in the handle (to store the valve connector and hose when not in use) is a bit loose but not an issue as I secure the hose to the tube with the supplied velcro strap.Overall I am very impressed with what a great pump this is for the price. It looks good, the build quality is good and it works very well for such a compact pump.

This is an initial review because I've only had this pump a couple weeks. I've used it twice but both times it seems to out perform all my other hand pumps. Yes this one is a bit larger but not so large to be a problem carrying on your bike. If you have a road bike and need to be minimal with weight then you might go with something smaller. Pro Bike sells those too but I wanted the foot peg model. I had a flat a while back and it can be done but it's an effort to get a tire back to max pressure. This new pump is easier to use and honestly reminds me of using my floor pump but just a miniature version of it. Pushing the tire to max is achievable.Make sure your tire valve is down low near the ground so that you can utilize the foot peg. I saw one guy that borrowed it and used both hands like a traditional hand style pump so you need to place it on the ground. I know that is obvious (you would think) but it makes a big difference and the reason you can get it to max pressure easier.I like the look of this pump and it fits nicely in the provided holder with using the velcro strap. I was first concerned about the hose and storage of the head in the handle with it moving around and making noise and in general not being secure enough. I actually added an extra strap to hold it better near the top. See pics. I've since learned that's probably not necessary as when I positioned the pump in the holder to be centered the velcro in the holder does the job enough to hold the pump tight and the hose holds tight too. Pro Bike has that all figured out and but I do slip in a black zip tie and thread it through as not only extra precaution for holding it but a small amount of added security. All in all this is a great pump at a really good price. Happy with the purchase and with the communication and support from the Pro Bike Tool!!

I just got the pump and tested it out on a motorcycle tire; I was surprised by the efficiency and lack of effort required to toop up the tires. Compared to a traditional pump - as opposed to the floor style - it's a piece of cake as your weight does most of the work.I can't speak to the durability, but it seems to be a very well made pump with many thoughtful details. For example, the base has a silicon ring on it so the pump doesn't slide and abrade. It's a love;ly tool - I'm impressed. The whole thing is 12.5 inches long when packed for travel - it'll fit easily in my bag, and it'll be nice not to rely solely on my electric compressor. Nice.

BUY THIS PUMP! This is so easy to use, is light in weight, and works like a charm. It feels well made, and bound to last for years (unlike a lot of product these days). It folds up into a neat cylinder, taking no space in your closet. The valve screws on and locks, so it's secure when you pump, filling the tires with no problem. And don't be put off by the term "Mini" in the title. That's only for the size. It folds out into a standard size, and is easy to stand on and pump your bike's tires. After pumping my bike tires, I went in search of anything and everything to pump up, newly inspired by my pumping prowess. Dolly tires, footballs, nothing was spared. That's how fun and easy this pump is to use! I should have bought the ProBike Mini Bike Pump years ago!
