As far as stands go, this has a standard tripod mounting hole if you want to use it, as well as a ring stand to help you set it up in non-traditional ways. And, of course, the traditional "mount it on the laptop" works great as well. My *only* concern is with it squeezing the rubber rim that's around the screen on my MacBook Pro (the part that keeps the screen from pressing into the laptop when it's closed). I can't really figure out how they would work around this, but it feels like if I were to repeatedly take the stand on and off it would start to rip the rubber. So like, maybe invest in a tripod for any kind of regular use...

I recently updated my MacBook Air to Ventura, and I learned about the "Continuity Camera" feature. Intrigued, I looked for a mount/holder so I could try it out, and came across this one here.To say it's strong and sturdy is an understatement! I was shocked at how heavy (weight) it is. I've never used the mag(?)safe(?) charging thing on my phone, so I can't speak as to how that works, but I guess it's supposed to work with that.I had to remove my phone case in order to put this on, which I was a little bummed about, but was game to try. The kit comes with a cleaning wipe, a sticker (which is to adhere the metal ring onto, I guess if you don't have a MagSafe charger case?) and the mount thing itself. The box also comes with a really clever long fold-out strip of paper that's printed with every model/type of phone imaginable--like, by size, and you find your phone, line the markings up on your phone, and tear out a half-circle of paper, so that you know where to place the clear sticker (where you'll adhere the metal ring). (That sounds very confusing, doesn't it)Well, it's a pretty straightforward process, and it went smoothly and pretty easily. And the continuity camera worked! It's so slick! The phone mount/holder itself is very nice--the metal is, like I said, so strong. I really liked how the metal ring is a great "kickstand" for propping your phone up when you're using it, and I like it as a way to support your phone in your hand.Now, I do have some cons: The sticker was really tricky to center/place accurately. There is a lack of instructions (but I think that's because I just am fairly ignorant of all things MagSafe?) But my biggest thing is that the magnet is SO STRONG it's nearly impossible to reposition easily. I felt like I was going to pull off not only the metal ring, but possibly the back of my phone as well! I had to pry and slide the ring/holder off, and the second time I did, the entire thing--the holder, the ring, *and* the sticker, all came off :(Maybe if I had a MagSafe case? Maybe if I'd waited longer for the adhesive to cure? (I really like my case though, and was a little nervous walking around without a protective case). Anyway, I'm sure this is partially user error, but partially design. So I think this would work best if you have a case designed for it, so that you don't have to use the sticker and metal ring.

This mount is all metal, as far as I could tell (other than the padding), and super sturdy. The finger ring has enough stiffness in the joint to be able to use it as a stand, which is a nice feature.The camera mount works well for Continuity Camera use. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and am using it with an M1 MacBook Air. The phone is heavy enough that I have to have the display almost upright for it to not tip all the way open due to the phone's weight, but that's not the mount's fault. It's solid, and the padding keeps it from scratching anything on the back of the display.All in all, I'm pleased with the product. It will make a good travel mount for the phone.

With some of the other Magsafe accessories I've tried, I've been let down. With this one, I was surprised at how well it works. I've used the Ottherbox Defender XT, which has had issues with the Magsafe connection on multiple third-party accessories. Everything has connected, but not held that well. A slight bump and it's gone. Not this!So my expectation was low. I pulled it out of the box and immediately felt impressed by the feel of it. It's a solid design, has a great magnet, and has more functionality than I thought I'd use. From the finger-stand (so you can slide a finger in to hold it, or use it as a desk stand), to the clip (for the continuity camera), to the magnet, it's impressive.I've not tested it with a Tripod, as I don't have one that would fit it, but it looks like the right thread pattern and looks pretty good.

The quality is very good and it's all made of a metal material, not plastic. The extendable loop is great as a handle for the phone. I used it to be able to mount my phone to a tripod. The magnet on this accessory is very strong and does not easily come off the phone.

MacBook Air15インチ使用していますが、Macへ取り付ける部分のマウントが90度まで曲がらないため安定しません。M1までのAirならギリギリひっかかると思いますが、M2のタイプではちょっとした振動で落ちそうです。リングと1/4ネジ穴は機能しているのでそちらでは利用価値ありそうなのでそのまま使用させていただきます。

This PROfezzion MagSafe phone mount has a lot of features. You can use it to hold your phone on your laptop to use it for continuity camera, but it also works as a stand to prop your phone up on a table/desk and you could use the stand to get a more secure hold on your phone by putting your finger through the ring, kind of like some stands that adhesive to the back of your phone, only this will easily remove because it connects with magnets. My favorite feature is the 1/4" tripod screw hole that you can use to mount this to a tripod or pretty much anything else. It makes it really, really easy to quickly pop your phone on a tripod to record a video or take a photo.
