Speaker pole cups are not standard size. Besides that, decent speaker for the money.

Great subwoofer 'however'. It will should be used with a mixer board and 5-7 band equalizer to really bring it to it's full potential. Without it you're just wasting your money, it will sound very flat.

If you need a plug & play sub, no frills, small venue, and are looking for solid deep end, yes it does what it is supposed to do and it's fine. It will probably fit your needs.Pros:-It does look great, and I mean that.-You won't find a better one in this price range. You may not even find one in this price range...-Seems to be built solid, but definitely not a 7 ply birch residing in there. I have no idea what Chinese wood is in there, but I would wager to guess it's some sort of lightweight pulp that is at least half bamboo, pressed into boards and cut to fit. I don't really care as long as it holds up.-It is SUPER light. No more pain carrying this up a flight of stairs. It's that light. Makes me think the magnet on the speaker itself it also lightweight, but we'll see how it turns out.-It is idiot proof. XLR in, XLR out, x2. Easy to see.-The cooling fan... glad to see that in such a low end device. May not even be all that necessary but it's good to see it there, and will help extend the life of it. You have to remember these class-D amplifiers (which are Amps-on-a-chip plus massive capacitors) do get extremely hot, especially pushing subs.-The volume control really does a great job between the three so-called DSP settings.-I also chose this because the speaker mount hole is a little forward of center, so I have room to put my mixer on it.Cons:-I don't believe that DSP switch is a DSP at all. It acts like 3 levels of attenuation. I could be wrong. Just be aware it basically behaves like "Wide open, half power, and almost nothing" for the 3 positions." I prefer the half-power setting for live instrument use. The DJ setting (wide open) is pretty beefy and gets a little messy, best to trim it a little.-Speaking of, the crossover is NOT as advertised. There is no crossover that you can adjust. The There is a high pass filter (HPF / Low cutoff) at 120Hz on each channel, for the OUTPUT only. For the input, that HPF does nothing. Be aware you won't trim it on the input, you'll have to do that from your mixer.-It seems to not cover a certain lower part of the spectrum very well. I feel like I'm missing some frequencies around 220Hz -300Hz. It would be best to pair this with a speaker that really has good solid lows that you can adjust on the fly. I've tried it with two speakers so far and it definitely pairs better with one over the other.-The speaker mount cup is too shallow. Only accepts about 2/3rd's of a normal speaker pole. This equals a little bit of wobble. Sorry guys, that ain't cool. Get a standard depth cup in there.
