The ProShield Facemask has good coverage, and I have no doubt it will continue to help keep my face protected from snow and cold. The only thing I am not happy with is the edge that sits on the bridge of my nose rubs and causes irritation. I will need to put another piece of fabric on it before the next winter season is here.

This gaiter is lightweight and offers ear protection, which others usually don't, hence why I ordered it. But because it covers your ears, it is difficult to negotiate wearing prescription glasses. And when I did figure out a way to make it all work, I'd turn my head and mess it up again. The elastic that rests on your nose gave me a killer headache over time. Also, I'm not sure what it means by 'self-warming'. It traps in the heat from you breathing which, yes, keeps you warm, but the material itself did not get warm. Also, it didn't stay warm inside the gaiter at all. I wore it to our local ice rink, which is always freezing cold. I wasn't even skating - just sitting in the bleachers. I had it tucked into my sweater and cinched in the back to make it snug. If I wasn't breathing like I was trying to fog up a mirror constantly, it didn't stay warm. A surgical mask and a heavy scarf would have done the job better, in my opinion.

Picked this up to do yard work as I have a ton of trees and bushes that need trimmed every year I do myself. I also plan to use this when scootering during colder weather. It is very breathable and comfortable when I had used it for 3 hours. Didn't get light headed or feel I need to drop the mask to get a fresh breath of air. Even with the filter inserted. Has an adjustable draw string to tighten if necessary.Seems like good quality and well made.

This neck gaiter is a bit different since it is designed to also protect your ears. The mask is comfortable and can be adjusted with a slider on the back. It does fog up my glasses but so do all the other ones I've tried. This is one of the best I've tried as far as comfort is concerned. It is extremely warm.

Learning curve with how it's supposed to be positioned on your head/face but once you get it in the proper place, this works great. I appreciate the filter (I wish it came with more than just 1) and its fairly easy to install. It does a great job warming my neck, face & ears. These days, I am very used to the air flow restrictions of wearing an effective mask so it works just fine for me, but some people may not like that or feel they aren't getting enough air in. Makes me feel warm & safe so I am happy during the winter. The elastic pull cord on the back does a good job tightening it around the lower back of my head to keep it on/up. It seems pretty well made and feels nice & soft on my skin. Would be perfect for snowboarding or skiing or other winter outdoor activities. I like it - I recommend.

This is a great alternative to a scarf for winter activities. Easily slips over head and tucks nicely into a coat neck when zipped up. Top conforms to your face or let it hang loosely. If you want a tight fit, there is an elastic string and clip on the back. Inside, it’s a fleecy material that’s comfortable.

It's very warm and comfortable. It fits very well, I haven't even needed the draw string yet. The only problem is that the inside gets very wet and the filter likes to move around sometimes in the pocket. Both issues could be solved with an exhale valve. I have a couple of small ones that I'm going to try adding to it myself.
