It booms, the display is bright and clear, a lil TOO bright in my opinion, if you're using it for a optical stereo amp for you TV, cause sadly that seems to be a standard on most TVs. It has a lighted ring around the volume display that stays on 24/7 unless you manually turn the power switch off, which is awesome, thumbs up to engineering design team for actually putting a nice, very clicky power switch ON THE FRONT! wish more brands would do this. Definitely rated for it's wattage with plenty of deep bass, and high high's , and smooth clean potentiometers for everything. Now the remote control was kinda of a last minute add on, or upgrade to product already in use and just added on, or that's at least what it seems like to me. The volume knob on the unit doesn't work the way most do which are like infinite turning knobs, this is a regular old school potentiometer from 0 to 10, with stops on each side, so you kinda of have to set your volume knob on the unit like 1/4 to 1/2 way, then use the remote to set the level after that, but you don't get the full volume, because the knob isn't all the way up, but if you turn the knob all the way, the amp turns on at full blast every time, with the start up chime, also you can hear the hum noise from the amp being turned up too far. And the remote is not very user friendly , the volume and mute are right in the middle with no way to "feel" where the important buttons are, so you pretty much have to use a light and look down every time, and precisely put your finger in between the small identical squares. Besides the remote control, it's a great unit!

I don't know why so few reasonably-priced receivers on Amazon support optical signals but this one did and the price was tolerable since my output power needs were pretty reasonable (4x 4ohm speakers in a 800sqft gym). Please note that it only supports PCM audio on the optical so ensure that your TV can output that. My Samsung TV required changing from "auto" to "PCM" on the optical output to make usable signal.Gripes: IR sent from remote or from a FireTV Cube is a little slow so don't hit the button too fast. When it power cycles the mode resets back to bluetooth every time and you can't change that which is a mild issue when my area gets lots of power flickers and I wanted to mount this away from living space. Can only step through the various modes vs having a button and IR signal that says "go to optical".For the price, finish, size, and power I'm fine with the annoying points and would buy again since the rest of the market doesn't meet my needs.

Su funcionamiento es bueno, buena potencia... Pero llegó golpeado, por un descuido en el manejo. Espero siga funcionando bien, si no haré uso de la gargantia

This Pyle product, PDA4BU, worked great from the first minute. I'm very surprised and pleased as I had low expectations due to price and past reputation. I needed a small amp for a computer work room to help digitize LPs. This fits that need perfectly and sounds very good. Much better than expected with many different options for input. This would also work well for PA systems or DJ needs due to the 2 mic inputs and talk over button. I had a slight issue with the remote. It came with the battery installed upside-down. An easy fix. Overall, a great value for a small footprint amp.

Todo correcto, embalaje, plazos de entrega y lo poco que he podido probar de momento del producto y aunque no lo puedo comparar con otros productos similares, cumple con mis expectativas. Buena relación calidad/precio.

I bought this to use with a record player I'm restoring. The problems started almost right out of the box:The FM antenna plug was bent, as if it had be struck in-route. This is a minor problem, I ignored it.Once I hooked up my record play to the phono input, I noticed an intrusive 60Hz line buzz. I emailed Pyle support to see if I was doing something wrong. After about a week, they sent me a message suggesting that I flip a CD/PHONO switch on the back. My unit, whose specs and model number I sent them in the support request, did not have such a switch. After about another week, they suggested I ground the chassis. This leads me to the first major complaint? **Why does the unit not come with a grounded plug?** After replacing the 2-conductor power cord with a 3-conductor one and attaching ground to chassis, the unit played PHONO inputs with no buzz, and I was (mostly) happy. I'm no audiophile, but for my purposes, the sound was quite nice. The next complaint was also design related: **Bluetooth**. This is the greediest Bluetooth connection I have ever experienced. If you pair a device with this unit, any time you power the Pyle on, it will pair with your device and begin playing it immediately. Imagine the case where someone previously paired their phone to play music. The next time, when someone else comes along and turns the Pyle on, and the other person is minding their own business in their room; their phone instantly paired to the Pyle, and whatever was being played on their phone is now being broadcast to the house by the Pyle. I'll let your imagination fill in the many reasons this could be problematic.Similarly, the FM station presets do not persist after powering the unit off. I guess you're supposed to leave the unit on if you want to use that feature.Anyway, I determined not to use the Pyle for playing Bluetooth and leave it set to PHONO. After four or five weeks (just after the 30-day return period), it stopped producing sound. Lights on the front all functioned, but no sound came out, no matter the combination of inputs and settings. I took a look inside and saw scorch marks around one of the power transistors.I sent another request to Pyle support, and after another week, they asked for my receipt to see what my warranty situation was. After another 3-4 day turnaround, the support person provided me with an address in Brooklyn, NY where I can send the unit for repair "Free of Charge". I have sent them the $19 receipt for shipping, hoping they will honor the "free of charge" promise. I don't have high hopes for a speedy return of the unit.Knowing what I know now, I would definitely NOT recommend purchasing this unit. Not only are the design flaws, their support staff, while pleasant enough, appear to be overworked to the point of needing up to a week to respond to customers. I am concerned that the warranty does not include reimbursement for shipping, in which case it is likely to cost as much to send in the unit for repair as it is to purchase a new one.**6-month Update**That greedy Bluetooth function I mentioned? It doesn't work anymore: won't pair; doesn't even go into pairing mode. Technically, I didn't buy the unit for its Bluetooth function, so I'm not that bothered, but this is yet another indication of poor quality. Low price -> low quality -> don't expect it to last.

This is a very great bluetooth and sound quality receiver. I love the great sound it delivers and how well it stands out with it's big sound in such a small box. Anyone will not believe this receiver packs so much power an how much it functions all around. Trust me it's well worth buying and I've already been telling my friends who comes over an ask that sounds so good and can get good and loud to please anyone's music or surround sound.
