Used valve to hold air in a ballon. None of the 10 valves held air overnight. First shipment of 5 all failed. Amazon shipped a second set, and they all failed. Might work for very very low pressure applications. Returned all for credit.

I tested these prior to installing by blowing through them. That was the only way to determine the direction of flow. It takes fairly good pressure to open the valve and there was no backflow at all (I was preventing siphoning). I carefully heated the rubber hose prior to installing and that made inserting the valves much easier.
