Does a good job on 2 meters and 440mhz. No local 220mhz here to test it. Because it’s a longer than stock antenna it hears vhf aircraft ok. Flexible skinny also

It works slightly better than the duckie antenna that comes with the radio. I'm using it on the Baofeng FT8P Pro and I notice a slight improvement in signal strength. I've also used in on GMRS and it makes quite an improvement over the stock antenna. 220 band works also great.

I got this to use with my UV-5XE instead of the two short whips that came with the HT. The first one did not work. However, Radioddity's customer service was very responsive, sending a replacement that does work. Amazon's website for this return was pretty annoying but once I got to Radioddity, all was fine.

The first thing I did was check these antennas on my antenna analyzer and VNA. They are very good quality for the price range. They cover the bands that they advertise very well with low SWR. And they are even broadband enough to go quite a bit outside the specified range with still acceptable SWR’s, and match. Finally, an affordable antenna that can compete with the industry standard Nagoya

Immediate improvement over the stock uv5r antennas. They are little more stiff then I would like, but decently flexy

Just got the antenna a week ago'ish! Mar 8 2020.But so far so good, seem to be made well, looks as good as the antenna I got with my Wouxun KG-UVD1P 144 220 hand held radio. It gets the signal out better than the stock unit that came with the radio.Only gave it 4 stars, because I've only had it for a short time.Price was great, sadly the local sellers can't compete with these prices, but then again a 144 220 440 antenna isn't that common.I do and will support them most of the time though!Bottom line for me, good price, and works well!

I an extra class operator and have the proper equipment to measure such antennas on a proper ground plane and also under HT conditions as well. The following are my test results of the Radioddity RD-371 triband 144/222/440 antenna compared to my reference Diamond RH77CA 144/440 antenna. Both antennas were put under the same conditions during the testing. Eg. The same ground plane, coax, test equipment, location to objects, etc.Radioddity RD-371 triband 144/222/440 antennaFq. You will destroy your radio in a very short time. The SWR is EXTREEMLY high. Advertising this antenna for Transmitting on the 1.25m band is FALCE ADVERTISING! Even as a dual band antenna this antennas SWR is poor on both the 2m and 70cm bands. The SWR needs to be under 1.5:1 for best performance even before field strength testing. I did not wish to burn my radios up so I did not even do a field strength test on it. I will be sending it beck for a refund. Buyer beware! Test your antenna or have someone who has the proper equipment test it out before you transmit on your radio. Beware of YOUTUBE videos that show some guy testing these antennas out and having good SWR results. Test them out yourself. I mostly buy these just so that I can test them out and review them. On RARE occasion I stumble across a good one and keep it. But a work of advice. Buy a Japan made antenna. The Chinese ones are garbage for the most part with few exceptions.

Very similar in looks to the Nagoya variety. Works well with my Baofeng handheld and I've tried it on my handheld scanner too and performs well. Good for the money!

What a great antenna with the UV-5x3. Decent gain for extra distance and it performs as well as my Diamond RH77CA on 144 and 440. I don't know how this compares to the popular Nagoya NA-320A but this Radioddity RD-371 is nearly half the price. Construction is very good and it isn't too long to be overly annoying. They supply a rubber washer for the SMA connection in case there's any gap between it and your radio. I like this antenna so much the NA-320A is now on my "maybe some day" wish list ;)
