I've purchased six of these, they have all worked well, although one connection has a bit of water leakage between the hose and connector, but overall they work fine. They are super easy to connect to the 1/2 inch drip line and have a tight connection, overall I'm very satisfied with these connectors.

I have several flower beds here in hot East Texas and I water a lot. The last ones I purchased of a different design were terrible. These rain drip smart loc fit, are easy to install, and most importantly, stay on the tubing. The others would pop off randomly and my water is expensive. I will buy these again.

Fantastic adapter & hose connector. Have tried the regular brass hose 1/2 inch to 3/4 hose adapter and also a Rainbird hose adapter, neither would seal properly to 1/2 inch Rainbird drip tubing. However, this clever little adapter works perfectly. It was quite hard to push on the tubing, but once on and the threaded collar adjusted, this thing seals perfectly. Highly recommend

these hose ends did not fit with the 1/2" hose, it simply did not accommodate the 1/2" irrigation hosefittings.I would NOT recommend these to anyone as it was a fight in trying to get the 1/2" hose to connect with them.and after 2hrs I finally gave up in trying to get the "nominal" 1/2" irrigation hose to connect to themand ultimately, I replaced them with another product.it simply was not worth the effort to try to get the 1/2" hose to work with them - extremely frustrated.

Worked perfect for Rainbird black drip tubing. Some people complain about the way the tubing locks in. You just have to install the wingnut all the way on, push tubing on and the back the wingnut off like you are loosing it. That's the way it locks the tubing just like the directions indicate.

I was amazed at how easy this was to fix. I cut off the drip hose to the previous connector using a kitchen scissors. Then pushed the hose into the new one. It was a tight fit, so took a bit of pushing. But it worked beautifully. Now the water goes where its supposed to go!
