Do not but this if you are right handed throwing. If you throw left handed however, this is a great glove!

I bought this glove off of Rawlings.com and thought it came stiff it is shaping up to be an amazing glove. There is such a leather quality difference in this glove compared to others. This glove gives you enough stiffness to break it in to your specifications, yet it breaks in hastily enough to get it to the field in time for a season. I definitely recommend.

This is by far the best first base glove my 17 year old has ever had. Bought it for his senior year and for college when he commits! Just top notch we’ll built classy glove. Will take about 2 weeks to break in for game ready. He started using it in intra squad games in a week but still little stiff.
