The recipe boxes are great! I was surprised by the quality of the wooden boxes and how large they are. The design is simple and not flowery. They make great gifts.

I was happy with the sturdiness of the box and the contents. Two of the corners were a little scuffed is why I didn’t give 5 stars.

I love this so much. I had one that was a kind of cardboard type before but it's gotten really old and batted up. So I wanted to get a new one. I love that this is wood. It's got a solid base to it. It feels like it'll hold up pretty long, probably forever because it's wood. It is a little bit bigger than my other one so it's a tight fit on my shelf now where I used to store it. But that's okay. The cards on the inside I actually really like them. They have it on both sides so depending upon how you want to put them in there you can put it on the left side right side cuz it's on both sides. The box has a slit on the top where I put my recipe card so it holds it up for me which is amazing. I didn't have this before and I would always lay mine flat down but this is really great. It holds it up so I can read it. It came with enough cards that I will be content. I won't need to use index cards like I have in the past. I haven't really rewrote all of them but I did read write some that I didn't like the handwriting on or whatever and then it comes with the plastic covers and I was like oh why would I do this but I put it on a couple and I tried and it actually made it easier to pull out the recipe cuz the cards themselves were sticking together. Whereas the film on it helped it not stick. So that's kind of fun. I don't know if I'll always use that but I'll use them until they're used up. I guess it also will protect it from getting dirty when I I'm cooking. So there's also that. I'm so happy with my new recipe box!!! The appearance in color is pretty great. I love that it's wood. It's easy to open and it has little magnets to hold. Hold it closed.

This wooden recipe box will be a Christmas gift. I think it’s very nice and will be well received. Seems well made, the hinges close smoothly and you can put a lot of recipes inside it.
