I don't have a video or picture, but I can say that the spring is not long enough to hold the shuttle against the body of the Floyd Rose when the shuttle is pulled out for drop tuning. It literally just flips upside down.

I've tried the "other" drop tunning gadget and it never worked 100% for me.. the tunning was always a little off when going from standard to drop D tunning. I am so happy with this one! it really stays in tune and seamlessly goes from standard to drop tunning and stays solid in tune!

Pros - Easy to install. Easy to fine tune. Soooo easy to engage and disengage.Cons - Big and ugly (but that's why it works so well). Wish they made them in black. I mean, most Floyd fine tuners and block screws are black, right? But hey, I'll take functionality over cosmetics.

I figured I'd give these a shot so I rolled the dice and ordered, they work perfectly, I especially like that they can be tuned in both positions, much better than tone vise.

Always used the EVH dtuna on all my guitars. Got away from them and now using the shuttle. Easy to put on and use. Precise tuning with no issues. A great solid product. Will buy a lot more..

I'm digging this thing. I put this on an original Floyd and I've got it where I can drop it...and I only have to turn the fine tuner just a tiny bit, and it's in tune....with a little bit more tweaking, I'm sure I could get it...but damn...I'm impressed. Look out d-tuna hehe -Also you need know this- I bought the first one, there is a second one for even lower tunings. But I looked at the little chart, and it appears to be correct, because the guitar I installed it on is in Dropped C and that's at the lower register -For any tunings lower than this, I would get the other one ok?.. I hope this helps guys. Cheers

This works way easier then the EVH Dtuna. It also is the only way to go, for a Lefty

I have been looking for a drop tuner for my Charvel San Dimas. I tried the drop tuner sold by one of the greatest guitarists ever, but it wouldn't fit due to the recessed Floyd Rose routing. I was lucky enough to find the RBDT1. I installed it and what do you know...it fit! It's easy to install and easy to tune. The instruction videos were very easy to follow. I've used it in practice and live show situations. It can take a beating and still work flawlessly. In other words, I trust it. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing drop tune product! Anything with the Red Bishop name on it is of superb quality and long lasting. I have their arm replacements as well as the intonation tool already in use for a couple of years now with no issues. This is the first of this type of unit that actually works as advertised. Take some time to get the settings right between the 6th string fine tuner and the drop-shuttle set screw and you will be rewarded with an accurate and reliable drop tuning unit. I also like the fact that it stays off of the guitar body, especially if you have a countersunk route. I picked up one for each of my Floyd guitars. I've used it live several times now and all worked great! One suggestion is to put a drop of 3-in-one or Tri-Flo oil on the flat part of the drop shuttle that contacts the spring plate as well as on top of the area of the screw in front of the spring where the unit slides over for an even smoother operation.
