I used a very small Allen wrench to remove the Built in sights for a clear window to see my Daniel Defense iron sights. Mounted my Holosun HS403R on using the original screws that came with the Holosun.

Solid product, very east install. Fits well with my Sig Romeo 5. Some scuffs and scratches out the box but these tools not fine china. Its gonna get scratched eventually overall great product. Not 5 stars due to the scuffs but i will definitely be obtaining another one.

Great mount, cheaper than the Unity mount which is hundreds of dollars for no reason. Some blue loctite and it’s secure. Works well with my Stribog 9mm. Don’t care much for the sights inside of the actual mount, haven’t used them. Would purchase this again.

I don't think you can find a better see through 2 inch riser for the price point. Quality is excellent. I mounted a Sig Sauer Romeo 5 on mine. Love still being able to use the tall irons on my Sub 2000 Gen 2.

For the price this thing rocks. I put my Sig Romero 5 on it, and I love it. The only issue I have is the iron sights are pretty useless. Maybe they suck or maybe it's me... my eyes are a little weird ever since I had LASIK. Either way, the space they occupy is a perfect witness height for my Magpul BUIS, so I am going to try to figure out a way to remove the built in sights.

Seems like a nice budget alternative to the very expensive unity fast mount. It states in the description that it's 7075 aluminum which is nice, whether is actually is 7075, I'm not sure. I have not had a chance to put it through some work yet, so I hope it holds up over time. I knocked a star off because it doesn't label which way to turn the iron site on the inside for which direction you want it to go.Update: I took one more star off because the front iron sight screw stripped very easily, leaving me unable to adjust the height of it. I also believe the sights are made from cheaper material because it snapped when I tried to remove it with pliers. Still seems like a decent alternative to the very expensive unity riser. We will see how it holds up.

I really wanted one of these to run with NVG's. I was ready to pay for the Higher end ($$$) version but wanted to make sure before I dumped $170+ into a riser; so I opted for this product.Running with a Vortex Optics Crossfire Red Dot.I have no complaints about the finish of the product (matte black). I can't compare to the $$$ design because this fit so good I couldn't justify spending the extra money on the same deign. It's some metal (sorry). Height and weight is perfect for what the design is meant for, to raise the optic for use with Night vision optics and provide up with a heads up display in white light.Mounting the RDS was relatively simple. I did put a thread locker on the RDS screws 12 hours prior to installing. And do not over tighten the screws forcing them to strip. simply hand tighten to firm. The design comes with built in back up sights, kind'f a gimmick; but, if you have an front sight you can use the built in rear aperture (I have not range tested this theory). The built in front sight post is useless, trying to figure out how to remove it.This is a value option for the design. I has worked for me thus far and can't see any reason why it would "range fail." If anything were to fail it would be the RDS screws, and that would be a V/O issue not "mount" issue. So if you'd rather spend the additional 150+ elsewhere, this is the mount to have.

Have authentic mount. Was going to put this on my trainer. This is just as good. Unfortunately returning as there is no recess in the windage screw to make adjustments. Incomplete millingit seems. Will purchase another in hopes of being complete. Does have recoil lug. Front sight is a hint smaller than authentic model and the clamping bar to the picatinny rail is aluminum instead of steel. 7075 aluminum? Can't quite tell. Does feel a tad heavier. No scale to compare. All in all, good mount.
