I grabbed this for my sister's annual camping trip. She gets cold easily and when she's cold, she stays cold. This mat is very thin, ot definitely doesn't do much for padding on the ground, it's good if used with an air mattress or sleep pad. It was used inside of a sleeping bag and that seemed to help keep some of the heat inside. A little pricey for quality, but it does do it's job as intended. It could be a little larger, it's good for a small framed adult or child. It isn't terribly soft, but a sheet was put over it before being used.

I recently tried this heated sleeping pad for a winter camping trip and was excited to see if it would make a difference in staying warm during cold nights.Experience with the Product: The heated zones really made a difference! The back, shoulders, and feet stayed warm all night, which was a huge upgrade from regular sleeping bags. The three heat settings gave me flexibility, and the USB power source worked well with my power bank. It’s lightweight and compact, so packing was a breeze. Conclusion: This heated sleeping pad is perfect for anyone who camps in colder conditions. It’s comfortable, portable, and does exactly what it promises. I highly recommend it!

Where has something like this been my whole camping life?! I camp about 8 times a year with my kid's scout troop. We camp all throughout the year, including the winter. Winter camping is usually Death Valley and Joshua Tree and we are going to Zion in March so we will still have some pretty cold temps.I just got to use this for the first time just a few weeks ago in Death Valley. The low temps were around 40 and we are tent campers. I have a 15 degree down mummy bag, brand is Nemo. This heated sleeping bag liner isn't really sized for a mummy bag so I thought I'd put it UNDER my sleeping bag. That was a mistake. I was still cold and had to get up and put another layer on. Just so everyone is aware, I also sleep on a Thermarest sleeping pad. I have decent gear in my opinion to help me stay warm. The second night I got the liner into my bag. It was a little long so at the bottom I folded it over, so it folded over my feet. It was PERFECT cause it helped keep my feet warm. And once I was in my bag and warm, I would turn off the heated pad.I like that I can just use a battery pack to use it. But I would recommend getting a higher capacity battery pack. The first night, I had it on for some time and it used over half of my battery pack, a 10,000mAh battery pack. We were on a 3 night stay so that wasn't going to work. So the next night I made sure to use it less and use a bigger battery pack, a 26,800mAh battery pack, and I was still left with a lot of power the next morning.Overall I definitely recommend this!! In fact I'm planning to buy another sleeping bag just so it's easier to use this. I'm considering getting a traditional size 0 degree bag for our winter camp outs.

I took this camping several times in cold weather and it does get warm. Not really hot, but it gets warm enough to make the difference between shivering and being comfortable. Definitely can't be depended on alone if it's very cold BUT helps. Also, a relatively small USB powerpack keeps it going all night. Recommended.

Went camping over Thanksgiving weekend in super cold weather and this liner was a lifesaver!! I even had to turn it down during the night because I got too warm, which was awesome! The only problem was early in the morning my battery pack died and I could tell almost immediately because my warmth disappeared! Otherwise, this heating pad worked great and I would highly recommend!!

I'm not a big fan of the cold. I tolerate it well enough, but it doesn't mean I have to like it. I'm not fond of the numb fingers, the frozen nose, the toes that feel like bricks of ice after a few hours out in the thick of things. Not a fan. So I'm always looking for gear that will make my forays into the outdoors more tolerable. When I saw this little heating pad I had to try it.It arrived in its bag inside of a box and arrived in near-mint condition.Setup is pretty easy. Unroll, at the head of the pad there's a pocket that holds an external USB battery and next to it is the power switch. Plug in the USB A cable into the battery, press and hold the button. The pad gets pretty warm! I do wish there were more warming zones at the feet, but given that this is meant to be used in a sleeping bag I imagine the heat will soak through pretty well. There are three heat settings, and if this is like my other heated things the red is high, blue is medium, and green is low.Overall I'm pretty happy with this pad. I think it will get more use by the people in my house trying to beat the cold, but it'll serve them well for that and me well if I use it out of doors.I recommend!

This camping pad is made mainly of flannel with a cotton fill and the backside is made of oxford cloth, a water resistant material. The pad is lightweight and fits neatly into the provided compression sack. I really like the three temperature settings, this product will keep you warm. I have used this pad with a sleeping bag, while sitting in a camp chair and on a couch on my patio. It works. Two things I do not like about this product is it is recommended that the pad not be washed and even though the advertisements clearly says no battery is included, you will need a 10000 mAh battery bank to get the heating benefits.
