Good hitch. Lock is great if you are into ball switching. I am not but makes switching sizes much easier. Had trouble getting hitch pin in but that could be a slight misalignment problem with the receiver.

Purchased for moving my 22' boat and trailer around property with Hyundai Sante Fe (SUV). Although I regularly tow with my GMC 2500, I sometimes have a need to use my SUV to jockey the boat from the house to the barn for maintenance....or simply to reassign parking spots. The SUV has a 3500# towing capacity and came from the factory with a 1-1/4" tow hitch receiver; so, I don't use it for towing the boat on the street/highway. Nevertheless, because it has a short wheelbase, it is significantly more maneuverable (than my GMC) and very handy to use on the property. This conversion tow bar offered adequate capacity and filled my particular need.

I like that one person can tighten the ball with the little wedges holding the ball in place, just what I needed. Works great for my little utility trailer pulled with my Scion XB. I added a locking pin, but have this backup pin for an emergency. I'm surprised that people aren't using a locking pin to secure their hitch set up. Not the product fault for people who didn't measure for what they needed in height and length before they bought. I had to flip the ball, had to get a neighbor to help loosen it up, but locking washer did it's job, and I don't want it to loosen while I'm towing. People remember this is for a class 2 hitch, 1 1/4" hitch.
