"Hitch Ball w/InterLock (Hex) Feature, 2"" x 1"" x 2"" 6000 lbs. Chrome Packaged"

This is a very nicely machined and plated 2" ball, rated for loads up to 6,000 lbs., and a perfect match for any Reese towbar with the "interlock" hex-bolt pattern stamped into the end of the bar where the ball is inserted. This feature eliminates the necessity for using a second wrench to install/remove the ball. It'll probably also "fit" on any standard bar with a 1" hole, but it's best with the Reese bars it's designed for. Once I got it installed, it looked so shiny and nice, I almost hated to cover it with the trailer hitch ...

Got this to match a Reese Towpower 21794 drop hitch. It fits good, and seams very robust. I like the interlock.

This 2" ball with 1" bolt is heavy duty and well made. I got it for half price as an opened/unused package so I was even more pleased. Use for all utility and boat trailers, unless equipped for 1-7/8" (lighter weight) ball. This 2" size seems to be the most common. Gooseneck and heavy campers will use 2-5/16".

What can you say about it? It's a trailer hitch ball... Seems fine!

Installed this on the Reese Towpower 21793 Class 3 interlock ball mount. With the impression on the ball mount, there's no need to try and get this professionally tightened. I put the ball mount into the receiver and tightened down the ball with a 24" pipe wrench. I just towed a trailer with about 1800 lbs of cargo over 450 miles and it's still tight! One suggestion, I used red thread lock liberally on entire thread surface.

the ball was damaged {slightly} point it was supposed to be new, plus after shipping the price was higher than prices for the same thing at local stores, bad move on my part, lesson learned. do not reccomend this this product.
