I got this to use in my RV, for the windows, but it's SO thin and just doesn't work for that. I'm not sure how it would work in other applications, but it's a No-Go for me and my RV.

I wanted to try this aluminum insulation film, and I must say, I’m very impressed. It’s incredibly durable yet easy to handle and cut to size. I especially appreciate that it doesn’t contain plastic bubble wrap layers, as I prioritize eco-friendly solutions. However, I was disappointed that it arrived wrapped in plastic—packaging it in a recycled cardboard box without any plastic would have been a much more sustainable choice.I tested this insulation in outdoor cat cabins, even using it to create flappy entrance covers to help retain heat. It has been holding up exceptionally well. Given its durability and flexibility, this insulation is ideal for many applications, including RVs, cars, homes, and DIY sunshades. I’m excited to explore its use in future projects and will update my review with additional insights.

This is easy to use. I got it on top of my brooder pen to keep heat in for the first few days. It's easy to cut. Works great for what I needed it for. Good price.

This reflective insulation roll is simple to work with and highly effective. We easily cut and fitted it to cover a shack, taping the pieces together to line the interior. The material is flexible, making it easy to handle and adjust as needed. It helps regulate temperature well, keeping heat in when needed and blocking it out when necessary. Overall, it's a solid choice for insulation projects.

I ordered the “Reflective Insulation Roll - Premium Aluminum Film Pearl Cotton, 16" x 70ft, Industrial Strength Insulation for Packing, Freshness Preservation, Radiant Heat Barrier, and Moisture Resistance” to review and to use for various heat reflective projects as well as a heat/light reflective project that is creating a seed starter grow box for my vegetable garden. I love the versatility this reflective insulation provides. I also love how flexible it is while maintaining exceptional strength. There is one problem in one of the images on the product page that claims 1120 sq/ft. That is from using 16 ft instead of 16 inches in the calculation. I bought this to line the underside of metal screen tops for reptile enclosures, to help retain heat during the colder winter months. The insulation feels like a thick fabric or paper, making it easy to cut with craft scissors and maneuver into place. It works well with adhesives -- I've used double-sided tape, painter's tape and glue dots for temporary setups. For a permanent hold, I secured mine with self-adhesive faux leather, and it's holding up nicely.The difference in heat retention has been significant, lowering my electric bill noticeably. I’ve nearly used the entire roll and plan to repurchase soon -- it’s effective and well-priced -- and a staple for herp keeping.

The listing states "16 inches x 50 feet," which is accurate, but the images led me to believe there might be a larger option available. It is indeed 16 inches, not the more expansive dimensions suggested by the photos. This discrepancy is a bit misleading, and I would recommend prospective buyers pay close attention to the measurements before purchasing. It would have been helpful if the product images were more aligned with this specific variant.When it comes to value for money, despite the mix-up in visuals, I believe the pricing is reasonable. For around 66 square feet of coverage, it certainly serves its purpose adequately and is a cost-effective option for anyone in need of reflective insulation.In summary, the Reflective Insulation Roll provides excellent performance in terms of radiant heat barriers and moisture resistance. Just be cautious about the size, as the images may not accurately represent this particular product.
