This review is for the Thadavo brand Paracord rope.Paracord is a useful thing, and this should be plenty of it for most purposes. In addition to that, it’s plenty strong enough for everything I’ve used it for so far and behaves just as expected of paracord. The reflective part is occasionally useful as well. I am unable to test it to 850 pounds, but it has withstood quite a bit of abuse so far. For any normal use, this is perfect.

I got the 100FT version. Next time, I'll get a longer length, just so it comes on a roll, rather than flat. This looks, feels and behaves as other paracord I have. It is fully flexible but doesn't stay folded. It compresses a bit from its natural length, and stretch out even less. The ends melt as expected. For strength, I don't have the inclination to load it statically to 850 lbs, but with over 200 pounds, it accepted significant jerk without issue. I don't intend to use this cord in a situation where life and limb depend on its strength, so this is good enough for me.At this price, I somewhat feel they are basically giving it away.

I have all sorts of ropes and cords - lightweight, mid-weight, heavy-weight, but I did not have anything that was truly reflective until I ordered this paracord!I ordered the black, and it feels great in your hand, and feels like a well-made rope. I will be using this to replace the rope securing a tarp over an old shed - we get a lot of wind, and the tarp is holding up, but the old rope has seen better days. If I feel energetic, I will try to separate out some of the strands, so I don't use up the entire 100 feet.If you are a camper, the reflectiveness of this would help to prevent folks from tripping over any lines securing your tent, tarps, etc. I always keep a good amount of paracord in the car, you can do quite a lot with this!!

I got this for the reflective tracers and to replace the non-relective lanyard for my compass and fire starter to make them easier to find in the dark. It doesn't show up well on camera, but I took that picture in a pitch black room with camera flash. In person, the spiral pattern did a good job of catching the light from multiple angles.I have no way of testing if it can actually hold 850lb, but it does have 11 strands as advertised. Overall diameter is 0.125". If you just need durable cord, this is still a great price. Would recommend.

Thin but strong. I'm using this for my sun sails and it's working well, no stretch after a week so far. It would make a good cord to throw in your camping kit for use around the camp site.

It is exactly as described, paracord with a reflective thread included. I found it to be the same as pretty much every other paracord that I have in strength (I did not do a real load test), no stretch, and ease of cutting and tying. This is just a touch nicer if you are using for camping and ever need to see it in the dark, especially the black color. The reflectiveness is very effective and about the same as on my tent guy lines. It never hurts to have a bunch of this in your vehicle or camping emergency kit for whenever you may need it.

Not just rope it's paracord! Although you wouldn't use this to suspend and actual parachute, this is a very handy item to always have around. I carry a roll in my truck for lashing tarps or securing things in the bed. How does this particular paracord measure up to all the other options you could buy? Just fine! The price is fair for 100' and although I haven't put a 800 lb load on it to see if it actually stands up to it's rating, it has secured everything I've tied down with it no worries. The reflectivity is a plus too!

I'm kind of obsessed with paracord and cordage in general and I'm always eager to try new cordage. This seems strong and abrasion resistant, and very reflective. The issue is that it's really stiff and it doesn't seem to have any stretch, which paracord, by design is supposed to have. The stiffness makes it trickier than it should be to tie (and hold) knots, and I'm concerned that the lack of give would make the cordage more likely to break under tension. If you're looking for an EXCELLENT high strength paracord, check out Tough Grid.
