I bought this to put on the zippers of my new Jan sport to make the zippers easier to pull. It’s very sturdy good Paracord and the colors are beautiful.

I'm no expert, so I have to go by the stated ratings and review. On the face of it, this rope looks good. The 50' hank arrived neatly coiled in a plastic ziplock. The ends of the rope were mostly sealed up. In the pics, the red is the 750 lb. Type IV from Paracord Planet, the orange is generic Bluehawk from Lowes ("safe working load is 30lbs"). They look remarkably similar, especially the braid pattern and, oddly enough, the Bluehawk is actually thicker. But, the Paracord Planet stuff is much stiffer, as though the nylon sheath has been stuffed with a lot more material than the Bluehawk. Opening up the braid on the Paracord Planet 750, there are in fact 11 core strands. But, each white core strand is only made of 2 twisted inner strands rather than the 3 twists found on some other 750 lb rated "mil spec" cord. It's unclear to me if this might make some small difference in the dynamic load capacity.

Strong, very sturdy and rigid compared to 550. I used it to make a monkey fist using a billiard 8 ball.

Good product, I used the extensive Paracord included in this pack to hang lanterns/lighting during big camping trips. Plenty of cord to go around a rather large campsite and strong enough to hang a bunch of lanterns from. I'm sure I didn't get near the 750lb limit but I usually have them pretty taught to the point where lanterns don't make the cord sag more than a few inches. Definitely satisfies my use case. Hope this helps someone out there!

Great paracord, nice and strong and same brand as the other well known brand which is way more expensive when I was shopping around for this product, it's genuine military paracord and I highly recommend it, also it reminds me when I was a paratrooper with the 82nd airborne Division and jump school back in 1971 in Ft. Benning Georgia. Thanks!
