This is so much smaller than what I imagined but the detail on it is amazing. The snake wraps around the whole egg so no matter which way you place it the snake will be visible from all sides. The mold is really flexible and feels very sturdy. It's easy to use. I’m actually happy it's not huge because it doesn’t draw the eye right away. I made one and placed it on a book shelf and it’s always fun when people find it and exclaim over it. I’m really happy I got this.

What I really love about this is how close the snake looks to a real one. It’s not one of those overly cartoonish or generic designs you see all the time. If you don’t look too closely, it could totally pass as a colorbrid snake. I’m ignoring the exaggerated scales—I figure they were made that way on purpose so they stand out more visually. Overall, it’s a really cool and realistic piece!

This is a great mold but it arrived a little messed up. It's just a little off center but it makes one side thicker than the other side. Other then that the design is wonderful, it's easy to remove. The detail is great. I like the snake wrapped around it. Its easy to use and its durable.

The main thing I love about this is that the snake is super close to being an accurate representation of real life snakes. It isn't some poorly generalized design that you see everywhere, It can easily pass as a colourbrid snake if you don't look too closely at it. I'm ignoring the scales since I'm assuming they made them more exaggerated so you can see them better

I am not terribly experienced at pouring resin, but when I saw this 3D snake and egg mold I knew I wanted to try it .Oh it’s so cool!First off the mold itself is a good size. Without actually measuring, I’d say the finished product is 5 or so inches. This is a two part mold. When finished it makes a really nice bowl with lid . It’s big enough to hold some trinkets for sure . I found it to be sturdy enough . It didn’t tip over when I was filling it and sat steady till it hardened . It’s not really thick but then, it needs peeled off when done so maybe that’s good as there are lots of curves on the finished product .Now for the fun part! There are a few directions on the product description online . I referred to that and did as it instructed. I’ll admit to being worried I’d make a mess or that it would not come out well.It came out perfectly! I turned the mold inside out and brushed the snake with gold mica powder. Then lightly brushed the rest of the mold with an iridescent powder. Turned it back to right side out and poured my mixed up resin. I let it sit for 24 hours and this morning peeled off the mold. I did have to loosen a tiny bit of the edge with a knife to get a start. The mold peeled off easily . And WOW! The jar came out great! The lid fits well and the base sits level. I’m really happy with my first attempt ! Now I may make another today in a different color !This is a really fun and rewarding activity .I’m impressed with this mold. It worked perfectly! The cost is reasonable for such a detailed mold.I very much recommend !

As with many molds, these came poorly packaged which caused them to be slightly deformed. They are out of round making it a chore to constantly monitor them and keep them round so the lid fits when they cure. The design is nice and they accept mica powders and chameleon flakes easily.

I'm a total novice. When I saw this mold, I was confused. But it was actually super simple to use. The detailing, especially on the snake skin, is amazing. I'm still learning how to use colors, but the shape and final result from the mold is very forgiving for this newbie.
