I have been riding for a long time and have used many pumps, this one is right up there.I have used for for road gravel and mountain bike tires and it works great for all of them. The stroke volume is great, the dial is large and easy to read. What else do you want out of a pump? quick, easy and reliable.

This seemed like a pretty standard bicycle floor pump but the guage is not accurate. It claims to fit both presta and schrader valves. I only have presta valves on my bikes, so I cannot confirm this claim. The pump head fits securely on the valves and air doesn't leak out around the valves. However, the pressure gauge was very off. I first tested it on my mountain bike with 2.6" tires. I had to pump slowly, otherwise it seemed that pressure just built up in the pump tubing and was slowly entering tire. I pumped the tire very firm, more firm that I would ride, and the pressure gauge read only 12lbs. I then connected my other floor pump and it read 20lbs, which was clearly more accurate. I also tested it on my fat bike. Again, I pumped the tire firm, but the pressure gauge didn't move off zero. My other pump read 10lbs. So, I'll keep the pump as a backup because it does get air into the tire, but I won't trust the pressure gauge and go by feel instead.

Updated, revised review:After my original, negative, 1-star review (below) the seller sent me a second pump to evaluate. When I first tried the new pump it popped off the valve like the first one. But then, going over its use carefully with another cyclist, we figured out that, because of long experience with competing pumps, I was not inserting the Revere pump head onto the valve stem firmly and completely enough. If you really push the Revere pump head onto the valve, pushing past the point of initial resistance (where you stop with many pumps) to the point where the head cannot be pushed further, the pump head seals fine and stays on. I have tried both Revere pumps this way with no problem with threaded Presta valves, with smooth unthreaded Presta valves, and with Schrader valves. When the head is put on firmly and correctly, this is a very nice pump that I can recommend. As mentioned in my original review the pump has some nice features. The large gauge is nice, the long hose is nice, the storage for the sports accessories is convenient, the large base is stable, the pump appears substantial and well made.I thank the seller for being responsive and helpful and for sending a second unit for me to review.Original review:A floor bicycle pump should do three things: (1) Be easy to attach securely to the tire’s valve stem. (2) Be easy to pump up to the desired pressure and indicate that pressure. (3) Last a long time with different bikes, tires , and users while doing those two things.Unfortunately, this pump fails the first requirement. It does not attach firmly to Presta valves. You put it on and immediately all the air rushes out of the tire and the pump does nothing. I am an experienced cyclist, having cycled over 85,000 miles over the past 25 years, who usually pumps up bike tires one or two times a week. I tried this pump on three different tires, with both threaded and smooth Presta valve stems. I did not even bother to try it on a Schrader valve. There are a lot of good floor pumps out there. This is not one of them, unless I happened to receive a defective pump head. It is too bad because the pump has some nice features. The large gauge is nice, the long hose is nice, the handy storage for the sports accessories is nice, the base is large and stable. If I had bought this pump I would return it.

This pump is better than i expected in every way and better than pumps twice the price. The nice part is you don't have to change the valve for Schader or Presta valves. That is a great feature. The pump is strong filling my tire in 1/3 less pumps than my current pump and closing the pump lock to inflate the air was easy. The product is of great quality, large air pressure gauge, long hose and has clips to easily attach/detach hose for use or put away. Glad i bought this product.

Just got this REVER XLAIRATOR floor pump, so can’t speak to the longevity of it, but can’t see any reason that it won’t last for years.TL;DR: Overall it seems to be a solid pump for the money. A plastic pump head that works well and will take both Presta and Schrader valves without switching. Comes with a needle for footballs, etc. A couple of niggles, and a huge plus. No problem recommending it.I compared this to my current pump, a Pedro’s. They stand the same height, but this one is a shade lighter, if you’ll be carrying it.The main question on a pump is, of course, does it put air in my tires? Answer: Yes, and reasonably quickly. I am using 32mm tires, presta, inflated to 50 on the bike I used. First, I flatted the tire, then inflated to 50. It took 20 strokes with the Pedros, and 22 with the Rever. Close enough to be the same unless you are inflating a fleet of tires. The handle is hollow plastic (probably some of the weight savings) with a flattish top that felt odd in my hands. Frankly, I’m not sure I’d have noticed if I hadn’t done this back to back. The huge plus for this pump is the dial. Huge. I usually like pumps with the gauge at the top so I can see it without my glasses, but I was able to see it easily mounted at the floor. Nice. The second niggle also concerns where the gauge is. The hose comes from the same spot the gauge is, so the floor. The hose is a standard length, so long enough if your bike is on the floor. Mine was on a rack, at eye level. Too short. Had to take the bike down. So if you have your bike hanging on a rack, it might be too short and you’ll need to inflate after you take the bike down. Like I said, a niggle, not a dealbreaker by any means. My guess is it will be long enough if your bike is on a trunk rack, though.Full disclosure: I was reimbursed for the purchase price, but that only got them more depth, rather than “Yeah, it’s a pump. It works”
