The quality is disappointing. These carpet pads feel more like fabric than actual carpet. They are not adhesive-backed and will not stick to stairs. While they have a slight stickiness to help prevent sliding, it is barely effective. I had to purchase brass carpet nails to keep them in place.

Look and wear fantastic. Dog no longer falls down the stairs. Couldn't be happier.

Purchased these to give our dogs better traction on the slippery vinyl stairs. They look nice and we're easy to place. The plastic backing was tricky to remove without it tearing into small pieces which was annoying. But they stay put and aren't curling or moving. They cover a good surface area and comfortable to walk on. The dogs aren't scared of the steps anymore.

These turned out perfect for our stairs at a property that we rent. They surprisingly don’t but are easy to pick up if needed. They were easy to install, they are durable and slip resistant. They also are renter friendly!

Bought These so our dog wouldn’t slip on the hardwood stairs. They work great. A few corners lifted a bit, but I just applied a glue stick under it and pressed it back down. Lays flat now.The only reason why a few corners lifted was because I touched it too much and that removed some of the adhesive.

We needed treads on our wood stairs for our kids and dog, so after finding these Rioland treads and reading the reviews, I decided to order. These treads would be 5 stars if the application was slightly easier, as other's have mentioned in the reviews. The film backing would not come off easily when removing, and I had to peel and pick little sections off of where it was stuck to the adhesive. Even with this, though, the treads took about 45 minutes to apply to my stairs and they do look great. I love the color and pattern, and so far they have stayed in place. There were two treads that had the pattern slightly crooked, but I had two extras and decided to not use those. Overall for the price, these are attractive and effective treads.

These were folded in the box so I recommend laying out with something heavy on them to help flatten a few days before you want to use them. They are a really pretty color and look like they will wash up easy. They don't grip the steps completely but I think it is because the steps aren't completely smooth. They don't slip too bad though.

Hubby slipped on the hardwood stairs and doggies were struggling to go up due to slipperiness. We didn’t want carpet or a carpet runner so decided on these as they can be removed for washing. It was hard to peel the cellophane like backing as it kept tearing. They adhered pretty well to the stair treads but I did have to add some double sided carpet tape to some sections. I didn’t want a pattern on the treads and these worked well as they blend in with the flooring. They don’t show dirt, are easy to vacuum and a great price point. Time will tell if they will work after washing, however, applying two sided tape isn’t that difficult and we only have 14 stairs. So far we’re really happy with these treads.

our older dog was having trouble navigating the wood stairs and her back leg would kick out. these did the trick. now she can go up and down the steps easily. They are very nice looking and seem to be very durable. the tan color is a nice accent and lightens the stairwell.

Product looks like sisal which is exactly what I wanted. Instructions were easy to follow. The plastic film covering the adhesive is very thin so as long as we laid the product flat, pulled the tabs in the direction noted and pulled back flatly and slowly, the film came off with little tearing. Easy to install and the treads look great! Time will tell if the treads stay in place, but so far so good.
