Bought this to warm a garden tractor cab, essentially to keep the windshield defrosted. The airflow is so weak that even the what comes out is warm, it makes no effect in the cab.I read another review where the guy mounted a large computer fan on the back to push air through better.I have made this mod, and am waiting to see if it noticeably improves the performance.

I had one of these before that I used on my tractor cab and it lasted five years. I had my gloves behind it so it wasn't getting air my fault totally melted it. This one I just bought because I had good luck with the previous one but this one didn't last two weeks and it has quit working and I don't have the box to send it back in. Now I am shy to order another one when this one didn't last two weeks.

You will get better results running an inverter and a small house heater in your car versus using this useless heater.Mine came in with the wire cut off as if someone cut it off and returned it.This heater outputs almost no heat at all. If you put your hand right infront of it you will feel a very small amount of heat and that’s it.I’m currently running a 750w inverter and a cheap 400w small space heater and it works wonders.I’m a master automotive technician the blower motor on my 2016 Nissan versa note sv went out I have the part I can replace it I just been to lazy to do it so I was looking for a more easy heat source lmao.On my car replacing to blower motor is a pain that I don’t want to deal with right now. Look it up and see for your self and you will see what I have not wanted to replace it lmao.

Not a powerful heater for an open Can-AM, but it's perfect for warming hands during snow plowing. It is safer than other propane heaters, in my opinion, and quite easy to install.

Barley blows any hot air we bought it because my girls heat went in her car right when it’s been the coldest so we got her this thinking ok maybe this will fix our problem because the mechanic basically told us they won’t correctly fix her car because it’s too much work whatever whole dashboard gotta come apart anyway then I figured we should just return it because we are buying her a new car real soon go to return it and I gotta pay 8$ to return it and also can only return it to a ups store and gotta print my own label and all that now for someone who has a printer that’s not a issue but for me yeah big issue

Despite some negative comments we bought this; we think its a great buy. Worked well, no issues. It is a 12 volt, you can't expect a full heater. Great design and felt well made.

We bought this to use inside a UTV (enclosed). It blows very little heat but does help a bit.

Very weak fan to move heat. The wiring is under rated and heats up quickly when trying to use on high setting as it draws to many amps

I bought this for my little '99 Dodge Dakota with the extended cab because my factory heater does not blow out a lot of heat. I've already attempted to flush out the heater core, but that had limited results. It's starting to look like I might have to replace the heater core, which is buried deep inside the dash. This is not a job I really feel like doing right now. But, winter in Oregon is approaching, and I know I'm going to want some form of supplemental heat in my truck. As it stands this little heater seems like a pretty good solution to either A) hold one over until the factory heater can be properly repaired or B) serve as a replacement for the factory heater in an older vehicle when a proper repair could be more expensive than it is worth.Do not expect this little heater to put out near as much heat as a properly functioning factory heater. And do not expect it to do much for you in a larger vehicle. From what I've researched, this little unit is best for smaller spaces.Good:-The heater does get nice and hot, and seems to do alright with heating up my extended cab '99 Dodge Dakota. Granted, it's not quite cold outside yet, so I'll have to wait to see how well it does during an Oregon winter.- Mounting was relatively painless as it came with necessary hardware.- It seems to match up pretty well with the rest of my interior.Bad:-The power wire does NOT include an in-line fuse, or even a fuse holder. I would not recommend, for the sake of safety, ever running a wire from your battery without a fuse. Failure to use a properly rated fuse could result in serious harm to yourself and/or your vehicle should there ever be a short in the wire. This means that I had to cut up the power wire in order to add a fuse holder to it.-There is a red light that is continuously on, even when the vehicle is turned off, because it uses a direct connection to the battery. This means there is a continuous power draw, even if the heater and/or fan is off. An easy way to avoid this, and to protect against accidentally leaving the heater running unattended, is to purchase an automotive relay and add it in-line with the power wire. Then wire the relay trigger to a switched power source, that way the heater will only ever draw power when the ignition system (or accessories) is turned on.-The power wire does get a little bit warm to the touch. Another reason to add, at the very least, a fuse to the power wire.It does seem like a perfectly functional little heater. But, in order to install it in a safe manner, I can't recommend this for anyone who doesn't know what they're doing, unless they have a competent mechanic who will install it with a relay and fuse.DO NOT INSTALL WITHOUT AN IN-LINE FUSE! BARE MINIMUM!
