My only suggestion is use something with more leverage than the tool they provide. Once I used one of my own tools, everything was great.

Comfy, easy to install, and absorb vibrations from the road on my commuter bicycle. There is some movement/rotation after tightening everything in place.*Not recommended for Enduro/serious mountain biking.

Installed easily. Secure fit, nice feel and a good choice to replace worn grips.

Haven't had them for long, but they seem surprising good. Get two sets of better handles, compared to one set roughly the same price from Walmart. Soft grip with no rough pattern, like the ones from Walmart. Like them a lot.

I'm not sure I'm completely sold on the texture of these grips, but gloves make the point largely moot. They are fine with gloves.I previously installed a bar-end mirror and had to cut a hole in the end of the original grip. I really like the end caps on these grips that enable you to use a bar-end attachment without any cutting. With these RockBros, the bike has a cleaner, more finished look where the mirror is installed. The grips are easy to install and the clamps on both ends of the grips work well.

These are great all around grips that are effortless to slide on. Tighten the screws 2 in the aluminum ends of each grip. With the provided Allen key tightly. And the grips will NOT turn, twist or pull off your bars. Loosen the screws off and you can effortlessly slide the grips off for replacement, flip or rotate the grip and get more use out of them. These are so far the best grips I have used at this price point. These make riding safer with the DOUBLE grip lockers.

The best grips in the world are the classic Oury. End of story. These CAN'T get 5 stars for that reason. Still, at 2/3 the cost of only one pair of Oury's, which these are clearly patterned after to some extent, I thought they might be worth a shot. The key to the Oury's success is the tall, sticky, soft blocks that offer great vibration damping, superior grip, even when every square inch of you is soaked through and covered with mud, and their surprising durability. The deep channels in between the blocks will actually scrape your gloves clean of goo. The mechanical portions of these grips (inner sleeves/rings) are indistinguishable from the name brand products, so they should work equally well in that regard. The grip material might be slightly stiffer, and the blocks are slightly shorter, so they will probably not damp vibration as well. The raised surface dots will probably improve grip a bit, unless or until they wear off. If you never liked Oury's because they were too spongy, you might like these. I think these will be a good grip, even if they are not as good at quelling vibration. I'm guessing right up front that they are DEFINITELY worth the price.

Have had the same beach cruiser for 10+ years. Was due for new grips. These went on easy and look great. Very happy with the purchase.

Pretty strong grip and the price point is low, great for quick swaps on an old bike. Unfortunately doesn't have much grip when wet.

Bought for sons BMX bike. Tightened up just fine. Good grip. Easy to install. Had to tighten down quite a bit but they don't slip or turn on the bar once tightened up. Not sure on durability as they are still new, but far better so far than the slip ones that came on the bike.
