The performance is better than systems that cost double or triple the price! There are a few things we did that make this have such clean and tight bass that you will feel in your chest.. . We made the enclosure vented and slightly bigger.. We updated the woofer to make it optimized for the tuning frequency of the vent.. We upgraded the built in amplifier and added more power.. We built in a fixed subsonic filter that filters out unwanted frequencies below 30 Hz.. Super slim. The super slim design barely takes up any space in your trunk. Our engineers matched a slim subwoofer with a vented enclosure and an amplifier tuned to perform optimally for this system.. . Huge sound!. This model is like our RWS12CA but significantly louder! It is vented and the amplifier produces more power. You will love the performance guaranteed!. . RCA inputs and high-level inputs. Use the RCA inputs if your receiver has RCA outputs available. Use the high-level inputs if you have no RCA outputs available like if you have a stock radio. Either way installation is quick and easy with this all in one solution. The Power, signal and remote turn-on terminals are angled which enables quick connecting or disconnecting.. . Remote bass knob included. The remote bass knob can be mounted by your dash and allows you to raise or lower the sub volume from your dash.. . Adjustable low-pass crossover. The adjustable crossover allows you to filter out the frequencies you do not want your subwoofer to play. For example, if you know your full range speakers are set to roll off at 80Hz you can set the crossover on the sub to filter out anything above 80Hz

This sub is not ground breaking by any means. Previously had a $200 ebay unit and wanted something a little smaller without sacrificing sound and that previous unit blows this out the water. Checked wires over multiple times and the sound is still ok. I have the unit installed in a Hyundai Sonata and its presence is there but not ear piercing. I typically listen to Hip Hop which this unit is ok for but don’t expect anything crazy.

I bought this for my Toyota sedan to replace an old faulty woofer. I was blown away by how this unit sounded and how easy was the setup (took under an hour to do everything). I am very happy with the product and I would recommend it.

The sub is decent for under $200. It’s not a show stopper or get notice. Had this over a year and the box is coming part. Dealing it in to specs will keep this sub alive. From the other reviews sound like they tuned by ear and not with a meter like device to get the true readings and into specs. Sounds good in my truck due to the hump and no space behind the seat a dual sub setup would be better. If your looking for true deep bass research other brands that will fit and require a amp to create the sound our looking for

The sub was installed and after 3 days it sounds like the cone is separating and rattling so bad that it just sounds terrible. After 3 days of back and forth they want me to foot the bill to send the sub back in for repairs. Shipping is not cheap. I now have buyers remorse. Buyers beware, go with another company, spend $30 to $50 dollars and steer clear of Rockville. See the actual response I received.Hi Jared, Thank you for contacting Audiosavings technical support. I'm sorry to hear the Rockville RVS12A we sent has a rattle in the center of the woofer. "Blown" refers to when an amplifier blows up a speaker, it usually catches on fire briefly, and smokes, when that happens. This sounds like a different malfunction. Our apologies for the issue! We have a warranty which allows you to send it in for repair. You would buy shipping from your carrier of choice to get it to us and from there we cover parts, labor, and the return shipping. If we can't repair it, we'll replace it. Would you like me to set this up? Ok 1st off I have a 05 RAV4 with factory speakers, so a small SUV and this is almost too much bass! I was so close to getting the dual 12” version and I’m glad I didn’t. So if got a small car and you want to do hood rat things on a budget this is the perfect fit for you! Turn the bass controller down and everything is nice and balanced. I have no regrets

It was a little bigger than I expected even after looking at the dimensions before buying it. Totally worth it tho and not bad for the performance. It THUMPS and is super clear. Hooking up was easy as I was upgrading from a Dual Powered 10" sub in my truck. Had to take up the passenger back seat in my 01 Ram 1500, but it doesn't get used anyhow. The clarity, depth, and loudness is AMAZING!!!!! Would totally recommend getting this system for any vehicle. It won't win any competitions, but if you want to add alot of bass and are on a budget, this is the system for you!!!!!!

I purchased this sub because the reviews were saying good things and that the bass was pretty good. It blew my expectations out of the water, now it’s not something that will win you a bass competition but it adds a really good amount of bass.instructions were clear and simple, it does not come with RCA cables just a FYI. Fits barely but nicely in my 05 gmc crew cab. You will have to do some cutting and work for it to fit in there nicely. Otherwise great product, very happy with it!
