This is a great bike rack. Very sturdy and secure. Unfortunately for me it is too heavy and sits high on my hitch. It was difficult for me to lift my bike up on it. I'm bummed that it didn't work out for me. I regretfully returned it.

I'm really impressed with this rack mount! It's sturdy, easy to install, and holds my gear securely. The cable management is great, and my bike looks sleek. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it blocks the radar sensor for my car when attached. Not a huge deal for me since I don't drive too often, but might be an issue for others who rely heavily on that feature. Overall, it is still a great product, and highly recommended

Solidly made rack that holds bikes securely going down the highway. No bouncing or bikes rocking back and forth. Great price and it works perfect for our Durango.Sell was super fast answering all my questions and upon arrival, a piece was broken, the turnaround time was quick with a replacement part. Delivery was 5 days sooner than stated. All around extremely pleased with rack and seller

Once you see a picture of the finished product online, this rack is simple to put together. And it is rock solid, and so easy to use! I love that part of it. Bikes are easy to load and secure, and the tilt away feature is a cinch to operate. I am very happy with my purchase!

This platform bike rack is sturdy, solid and secure. It comes with all the parts and tools, except a screw driver, that you need to assemble it. The clear directions make assembly a snap. Screwing the bolts into the nylon lock-nuts takes some effort but once it's tight it's secure. I can lift my bike easily on the rack which is only about a foot off the ground. The front wheel slides right into the boot and the sturdy lock-bar holds the front wheel in place. The back wheel is locked in by an easy to use adjustable strap. My road test with two bikes mounted proved how sturdy and secure this rack is. The bikes didn't sway, jiggle or bounce regardless of road construction in some places. All in all, I highly recommend this Rocky Mounts Monorail system.

This rack is great! Unlike a previous review that said this was not sturdy - I find it is SUPER sturdy. Everyone who looks at it - that is their first comment. I wanted to invest a rack that I could also fold up to fit into my garage and fold down with bikes on to access my back (i have an outback). The rack does this great! It was easy to assemble as well. When this arrived there were two broken pieces (due to shipping). I didn't want to do a full return so I contacted Rocky Mounts and they (Ben) QUICKLY responded and shipped out the broken pieces. Great customer service. Great sturdy product! I would highly recommend!

Great rack for two bikes with an easy-to-use and functional lock system. Bikes are easy to load and unload, the bolt attaching the rack to your hitch snugs up tight for virtually no rattle or shake, and the whole thing--with bikes or without--tilts easily to allow access to the trunk or rear hatch on your vehicle. Furthermore, the manufacturer is super responsive and helpful: I'd mistakenly ordered the hatch for a 1.5" receiver rather than a 2" receiver and Rocky Mounts cheerfully exchanged the requisite parts with me very quickly. We're really happy with the rack!

I previously had a Yakima Doubledown 4 rack, but had to replace it when I bought a RadRover fat tire ebike. I did a lot of research and the Rocky Mounts Monorail seemed like the best choice, especially since it would handle my bike (60 lbs, 4 in wide tires) with no need to purchase extra parts. Add to that the great price and I couldn't pass it up. The rack took me about 20 minutes to assemble, and mounts very securely to my hitch. No wobble or rattling, which is more than I could say for my Yakima rack. My bike fits very solidly in the rack and it takes less than a minute to secure. My only concern is the two locks. There is one for the hitch pin and one used to secure the bike cable. They do not look solid at all, I bet I could knock them off with a hammer. Other than that, this is a great rack and I'm very happy with it.
