i usually use a duffel bag to carry around all my cables, plugs, microphones, and extra equipment for djing. i decided to try this bag to organize everything & i was left underwhelmed. the bag is a decent size. it can hold everything i need, but dont bother using the included dividers. they use velcro to stick to the inside of the bag & they don't do a great job at that. the dividers and the bottom plate are supposed to add support to the bag, but they are cardboard thin and easily fold in half with any bit of force. the rolling cart is small, but it does the job.the build quality is ok, but the asking price is way too much! i dont think i can recommend this for a dj, but it will do fine as a storage bag for smaller items. for heavy duty dj work, i'd recommend finding a duffel bag or a suitcase to use instead.

The Timoxi Rolling DJ Bag with Wheels is a pretty nice gig bag with a trolly cart that has a great many uses. Every time I get a chance to review these gig/DJ bags, I jump at the opportunity because safely storing and transporting my various equipment is important to me. It sure beats the days of loading milk crates full of equipment into the back of a truck or a van. It never stays organized that way no matter how hard you try. The Timoxi bag will help give some semblance of order. This bag makes you appear a lot more professional too! The Timoxi Rolling DJ Bag with Wheels has ample storage for a lot of items such as effect pedals, microphones, cables, and all the other things a musician needs for his/her gig.Starting with the trolly cart, it seems a little lightweight, but is collapsible and appears to have some type of rubber wheels instead of plastic. I think the wheels should hold up for quite some time as long as you don't overload the entire cart with heavily weighted items. Near the bottom of the handles are two slider devices that let you lock the cart handle firmly into place. And when collapsed and folded, the footprint of the cart is a bit bigger than a shoebox, and about half the size of a hat box just for perspective. The cart is easily folded for storing out of the way when not needed. The cart handle when fully extended comes up to my mid thigh level. I think it could be a little taller but it is what it is and I don't want to rate any lower for that because it is at a comfortable height for me.On the gig bag itself, there is a strap on the back of the bag that easily slides over the cart handle to keep the bag firmly secure to the cart. It's a nice feature which ironically, I found that some of my other gig bags have the same type of strap system. In particular, another Timoxi gig bag. Essentially you can stack 3 or 4 gig bags of similar size, one on top of the other which is a pretty handy feature when you think about it. But again, you don't want to overload the trolly cart with too much weight and risk damaging the wheels and axle shaft. I haven't had any issues yet with this. The top of the Timoxi Rolling DJ Bag with Wheels has a double zippered cover that when open, reveals the majority of the bag space, and also includes a semi-hard flexible bottom to give the bag a bit more stability. Also included are a few velcro system dividers that once you get the hang of, stay in place for the most part. So far I've only used one of the dividers in this main compartment as my primary use of this bag is for speaker cables and connectors and/or a snake cable when needed. The front of the bag features another double zippered flap which reveals an inner compartment pouch and another zippered, mesh faced pouch as well as a space for pens/pencils, and what I'm guessing is a spot for a cell phone. On the outer front face of the bag is another single zipper pouch which I've found useful for keeping a small notepad. The left side of the Timoxi Rolling DJ Bag has two pouches, one with a drawstring closer and the other with a single zippered enclosure great for keeping small items. The right side of the bag features a mesh faced enclosure to keep those items you need to see from time to time.Upon my review, I discovered something new that I didn't realize until now. On the bottom of the Timoxi Bag is a velcro flap attachment that you can wrap around the bottom front of the cart to keep the bag from sliding off. There are also two more Velcro systems like this for the each side of the bottom cart rails, right and left. Pretty neat idea to keep your bag secure at all times. In the event you don't want to use the cart, the Timoxi bag comes with a carrying strap that snaps in securely on each side of the bag to make for easy carrying by hand or over your shoulder.Overall I find the Timoxi Rolling DJ Bag with Wheels to be a great price point value that has many uses well beyond a DJ or gig bag. There may be a time or two that this bag will serve as my overnight bag as it would easily pack some clothes and essentials I'd need. I found no flaws in the workmanship of this bag and would highly recommend it to others!Five stars!

This bag has so many great features, but it's just not up to par for DJs. Probably my two biggest issues are that it's difficult to load the main compartment, and that you have to be really careful about how you load the main compartment because the sides and bottom of the bag are too floppy. The built-in cart/trolley is missing a really key feature: it doesn't snap into a fully open position. This means that, until you have enough stuff wedged into the back corner of the bag to hold the cart open and upright, it is constantly falling and folding forward, across the top of the bag. On top of this, there's no built-in mechanism that holds the top of the bag out of your way, so it's constantly flopping into the bag and in your way as well. And loading the bag before placing it on the cart is not a good plan because of the way that the bag attaches to the cart. So that's major flaw #1, and while it applies to everyone, I think it's even more critical for people loading in and out of events, often in the dark, and almost always in tight quarters. Major design flaw #2 is that the sides and bottom of the bag don't actually support the weight of the contents, so unless you load it very carefully (and have exactly the right shape and stiffness of items to be loaded, the sides of the bag droop over the sides of the cart. They provide some not-very-stable internal stabilizers that, frankly, aren't up to the task. A wider base on the cart would also help here, and would prevent some of the tipping issues that I ran into as well. Still, I say it's a great bag. The main compartment is very spacious, and my tech gear appreciates the padding. You can quickly subdivide the space with the velcro dividers they provide, and the front and inside-top pockets really help to organize your stuff and keep smaller items (and your water bottle!) from getting lost in the shuffle. And finally, while I absolutely hate the color orange, I love it here for the visibility. Great (if ugly) choice! I'll definitely keep using this bag, in both professional and personal settings, and I do recommend it for a variety of folks who have to transport tech gear to anything from sales presentations to seminars -- but I can't recommend it for DJs.
