Just be careful.. You might still need a additional leash for the not well-trained larger size ones. Things happen/happened. Luckily, not too bad.

I’ve had the stretchy kind of waist leash, and honestly vastly prefer this. I have total control, the leash is long enough to give my dog some freedom while also short enough to stop from getting under her feet. I love the color and it’s very durable. Very simple design, and the little poop bag holder is just wonderful so that I don’t have to carry around a bunch of bags. I can’t say enough good things about ruffwear!

This is a safety net for me. I don't use it every day. I live next to a road and I walk my dog 3 times a day. I love him dearly and I couldn't stand it if something happened to him. I sometimes have vertigo in the morning when I wake up. It makes me nervous to walk him by myself on those mornings because I'm afraid I'll get dizzy and fall and he will get away from me and into the road or something. I bought this so that, if I'm having one of those mornings and I'm nervous, I can attach this to the two of us as kind of a safety net. I have his normal leash and harness, but this is also around my waist and attached to his harness. This leash is ever-so-slightly shorter than his normal leash, but it's okay. It's serving the purpose which was to give me a little peace of mind on those unsteady mornings.

I bought this for our 15 pound rescue in January. After 1 month the stitches around the handle started fraying. Last week, not 7 months after its first use, the hands free leash clip broke. Note that I have a small dog and I handle this leash with care. I have no complaints about the collar or harness, though. But this leash was disappointing.

Great but the leach keep on getting longer and shorter on the waist if your dog pull just a bit. And for the prise theres better ones….

Works so great for hikes and walks and runs! It allows my dog to make the pace, leaves me hands free and is so convenient. The security of the clips is top notch too. Strong leash that’s light weight too!

I love this leash! I adapted it to suit my needs by folding part of it over and sewing to create a handle where I needed one. It’s nice and thin, and I love that it has a small built in pouch for poop bags! I can’t wait for new colors to come out because the color is the only thing I’m not 100% thrilled about.

this sage green color really looks dirty withing a normal urban travel!its absorbs and takes all the dirt and smoke, it is tottaly dark and full of smudges from the dog skin and the floor.it is really light and great for outdoor travels as an extra pair you just throw in the back of the trunk. but would def not recommend for daily use!final conclusion: not worth the premium price of ruffwear products. look elsewhere to other line they sell. HI&LIGHT is not reccommended by us.
