You need to be aware that this LED strip is very limited on the colors it can display. Each LED can only project one color. There are red, green, and blue LED's. Each LED can dim or turn on or off, but it cannot change color. Therefore, do not think that this can display the full spectrum like it seems to suggest in the photos. You can turn on combinations of red, green, or blue but they are spaced apart, so your string will simply be a combination of 1 or more of those three colors. This is very basic technology and no like the more modern LED's where each LED can display multiple colors. With this string, you cannot get yellow or white, so it is strictly decorative. I'd pass on this and look for a string with better color control.

Does not show white it shows a totally different color but I'm desperate and tired of trying to find the best lights for my camper! So just will have to do look around before you purchase. I'm disappointed but unfortunately will do for the remaining camp season of 2024

I should have read a little more closely, as I was expecting each bulb position to have RGB. The bulbs on this one alternate, with only one color per position. It means that colors don't blend as well and it doesn't look great up close. From far away, it's decent. For the price, it's not horrible. If you're looking for higher-end LEDs, don't be swayed by the lower price. You'll want to stick with the more expensive options in order to get top-notch visual appeal and performance.

The most important thing to know about this light strip is that they use only the three primary colors (red, blue, green) to create the other colors through shade and brightness variation. Therefore, if you are looking directly at the strip, you will only see those 3 primary colors. However, if you undermount this light, the glow produced downward will resemble the other colors. If you are not able to under mount, you will not be able to get the desired effect. The strip itself was super easy to mount with a sticky adhesive backing. The lights worked well with the remote control provided. We were unable to get the app to work. The length is very long, but you are able to cut any extra length off you don’t need at the marked spots.

I applied these directly to the outside of my camper, under my awning. After cleaning the side first, The adhesion seemed to be good, although it has only been on for a few weeks now. The lights are bright and colorful, with many different options. However, The remote doesn't seem to have a very far reception. From what I know of her such a short use., I would recommend the product.

The strip works well for what it's designed to do, though the advertising is a bit misleading and lacking information.Pros:• The LEDs are small, but give off a lot of light on full power. There's many brightness levels to choose from.• Strip is flexible, yet seems relatively sturdy• Thick, rubberized coating looks to offer good water protection on the strip and LEDs• Low heat; They only get very slightly warm to the touch• Came well-packaged with both a wall plug and cigarette lighter plug• Seems to have a decent peel-off adhesive and easy to installCons:• First, these are alternating, single-color LEDs of Red, Green and Blue, each about an inch or so apart.....Red remote button lights up only the red LEDs, leaving blank gaps where the green and blue LEDs are. Similarly, the Green button lights up the green LEDs only and Blue button the blue LEDs only....The orange buttons light up the green and red LEDs, but the LEDs are too far apart to mix and actually appear orange. So you simply get alternating red and green colors side by side. Similarly, the pink/purple buttons light up the blue and red LEDS side by side but do not mix to make the pink/purple colors and the teal shade buttons light up the blue and green LEDs side by side, but do not mix to make the teal colors. The white button lights up all the LEDs, but again is just side by side spots of red, green and blue rather than mixing together to make white.• The water proof coating does give off a slight, strange smell. Almost a "sweet" smell. About the best I can describe the scent is a cross between the rubber smell of a new tire and the sweet-ish smell of diesel fuel. Weak enough to not notice it outside, but you can definitely smell it if you bring them inside. Perhaps the smell will wear off over time?• Though the strip and LEDs have the waterproof coating, the plugs are not waterproof. Even has it written on the wall plug "for indoor use only", so you'll definitely need to protect that plug from rain (either plug it indoors or inside a waterproof junction box)• The operable voltage range is a bit confusing. The LED strip has 12v printed on it and the power supply plug that comes with the set is 12v. However, the control box says "input: 5v - 24v"....When testing other power supplies (without the lights connected), it appears that the control box does not regulate the voltage; That is, whatever voltage you input to the control box, that same voltage outputs to the LED strip. So while the control box supports up to 24v, I would be very leary to send that much voltage to LEDs that are specifically rated for only half of that voltage. I wish there were better clarity on this.Extra note: Power consumption is not listed on the advertisement, though from my testing, I'm getting a max power between 6 and 7 watts with all LEDs on at full brightness. At lowest brightness setting, it drops to near 1 watt. This is important to know if you plan to run it off batteries.Overall, it's a decent light strip for what it's designed to do, though I'm taking off a few stars for misleading advertising and overall lack of information.

I used this to frame the inside door of my daughter's bedroom. One good thing that stands out is how well it stays in place, and fits around the corner's of the frame. The colors of the lights, red, pink, blue, and more are excellent. It came with one remote, a wall plug cable, and a cable that plugs in the cigarette lighter in a car. Using the remote you can set the lights to flash, or synchronize with music. It can be connected with blue tooth and be controlled via an app, by scanning the QR code.
