Lots more light than the incandescent light it replaced

Bought these instead of the older style pit lights that protrude into the inside of the enclosed trailer. They provide plenty of light that do not hurt your eyes if you look up at them. Plenty of light and draw very little power.

Easy to install! built tough! good quality! Extremely bright! Just exactly what I was looking for in an outside light to go beside my entry door on my motorhome. 👌🏼

I replaced the OEM yard light that used a single 921 incandescent bulb, the light from it was not useful at all. As you can see from the photo, this light works great for stowing gear after dark. It is on a 36.5 foot motor home and pretty much lights the entire side. There is a shadow from the slide out, but that has nothing to do with the light. Now why I only gave it 4 stars, there are no instructions in the box. None, zip, nada. If you have no experience replacing regular bulbs with LEDs you need to be aware of polarity. That is, if the light doesn't work at first, reverse the wires and it should work. Most installations will probably require shortening of the wires to make it easier to mount. Too bad because the wires were nicely tinned with solder. Also, do not use house hold wire nuts, use crimp on butt fasteners . One more thing, the gasket has to be fitted to the light before it is mounted. I thought I could work the gasket with the mounting screws loose, I couldn't do it. One might have to use weatherstrip contact cement to keep the gasket in place. I was lucky, once I had fitted the gasket securely around the light, it stayed put. Last, the fasteners it comes with are for threaded mounts. I used the existing self drilling/tapping screws from the old unit, they worked just fine.

These lights are BRIGHT! And while they may not be the cheapest on amazon, they are very well constructed and have been left on for hours at a time multiple nights for 1 season. There are made of a cast metal that has been painted with thick clear plastic lenses. I didn't use the included gasket and instead used a bead of sealant all the way around the light also putting a small dab of sealant over the cable entry on the light. If I had one complaint it would be that there are only 2 mounting holes for a fairly long and kind of heavy light (I got the 22.5" ones). I think the sealant helps hold it to the wall along with the screws, you definitely don't want to mount the light to any surface that flexes or moves at all, like some thin cargo trailer walls. Time will tell if they last but there are no signs of water entering the light, dead or flickering led's, or anything of that matter.

This light packs a punch for brightness… installed this light off the side of the horse shelter to have some pasture lighting to check horses and was over excited on the light it pumped out. Will be buying again to install on all the cattle shelters for calving

This thing is a major upgrade to our 1981 camper porch light. I paired it with dimmer switch which is almost a must with how bright this little unit is. Recommended.

I got this for the same reason you are going to - to replace the piece of *&^% porch light that came with the trailer.. You know the story, first time you turn it on, it all fine, then two trips later, only half of it works, then suddenly only a quarter of it.. And even when ALL the LEDs lit when it was new, it was a poor excuse for a light - no diffraction in the lens means weird "light quality" and looking towards it leaves laser like after images on your retina.. Sigh. But not THIS LIGHT. It is the real deal - easy to install, and the results? WOW, this is the porch light you want in the wilderness! The diffuser, while not perfect, is a HUGE improvement in light dispersion and the ability to look in the direction of the light without blinding yourself. The light spread is even and bright and with the awning out, it's like daylight in the area you would want it to be like daylight out.. Consider me a VERY satisfied customer..
