The pump is a direct replacement for the much more expensive J branded on demand water pump I have on my boat. Self priming makes for a simpler install since you don't have to locate the pump below the level of the water tank. 4.5GPM is a good rate for a decent shower but without wasting a lot of water. The pump includes the exact same adapters as my existing pump making for an easy install.

Pump was easy to install with very clear directions. It has enough pressure and volume of flow to operate my 10’ boom with 6 nozzles.Extremely quiet operation, at first I thought it wasn’t operating it was so very quiet. The only additional item I wish came with the unit was a wire harness with battery clips and an inline switch. I purchased a harness from different source and it worked out great.I seldom write product reviews unless I am extremely impressed with a purchase.Great little workhorse! Don’t hesitate purchasing it.

So I almost feel bad only giving two stars, but I think it's appropriate.First impressions, this pump is awesome. Good water flow, looks and feel sturdy, and seems to do what a water pump should do.But for the bad.Very simply put, the water pressure switch is garbage. For one, the micro switch is permanently placed in the housing, So you'd have to replace the whole housing, and that doesn't seem available anywhere. The next problem, the micro switch is supposed to be a 16 amp switch but there is something incredibly faulty with it. Mine blew and it stopped working. I managed to remove the micro switch internals and swap it directly with another set. Also 16 amp. It blew again almost immediately. I than 3D printed a new housing and stupidly tried using a 16 amp again. That one also blew almost immediately. I guess I really shouldn't be blaming the micro switch... There is something in the motor causing massive spikes.Either way, if you get this, your micro switch will blow. You won't be able to find a replacement. And I can promise you, purchasing a new pump is highly preferred over spending the time and effort to fix it... Not to mention the fact that if you don't want to kill the micro switch, you're going to have to use a much higher amperage. Which I would assume is a pretty unsafe thing to do if the motor has unusual and unsafe spikes in amperage.

Flow was fine pumping through a garden hose. I originally bought it to run a sprayer boom with 12 nozzles and it was able to produce about 15psi. The pressure regulator seemed to kick on and off as expected for on demand.

I still have a pump that has to be returned, this pump doesn't suit my situation. The thermo protection, kicks on to quickly for my situation. I tried to buy a new or different pump, but it isn't for my situation. Thank you, and tell me how I can return the pump. I already have a return for the same pump. I like to return it back to the manufacturer.Thank you.
