Compared to other masks I've used, these are low quality. The eye mesh is very stiff and sewn with folds. They rip apart easily. I have a horse that likes to remove his friends fly masks. Other brands stay in tact and I put them back on. These rip apart. Even with small holes they are not conducive to continue using.

I have 8 horses, so I used every one of these masks right away. They are all fitting well even, so my horses are not all the exact same size. Two of my horses are terrible at leaving the masks on and find ways to shred them. I will buy another set when I no longer can repair these.

I bought these in Medium because that is the size I usually buy from my local farm store. I really couldn't beat this price though. I usually spend $16-$25 per mask so $38 for 6 when I have 6 horses was a really great deal. The colors are so much brighter than I thought they would be. I never expect them to match the pictures online. They do run a little smaller than the ones I normally buy, but maybe they won't come off as easily. The mesh was initially a little more rigid than I like, but leaving them out in the sun to warm up and expand before putting them on made the bug eyes stick out instead of lay flat against my horses' faces. I think it was just the vacuum packaging that made them stiff. The lycra fits differently than the name brands and is wider where it goes around their jowels, but that made them easier to put on and adjust. My horses are tall and people have told me they have big heads, but they wear average halters and bridles, so I buy medium/average fly masks. We will see how they hold up. Even if they only make it one season, the price was totally worth it. I also prefer this style because they are easy to wash and repair if they need it and they don't rub like the traditional fly masks. I gave 4 stars based on initial fit and stiffness. I will update once they been used a little while on how well they hold up.

I've used this type of mask before without much trouble. However, these don 't fit the horses like the others did and they are constantly able to get them off so I'm going to have to go into the pasture to find them. The mesh that goes over the eyes has creases in them that I feel blocks the vision. Would not buy again.
