Windshield cover for snow. Has twonesr like lrojections to ciber the side mirrors and straps to secure item. In truth, I have not yet used this as it has not snowed recently. Lightweight, smooth on outside for snow to glide down. Comes with a small foldable ice scraper. Not a big deal but I do wish this included a bag or a way to properly store this when not in use, or perhaps had some sort of attached elastic stretchy straps to help keep it folded in the off season!

Winter in the Maritimes usually brings a nasty mixture of rain, snow, and ice that can freeze around your wipers, and make a huge mess of your windshield in general. We usually try to keep our car in the garage when it storms, but sometimes there’s just no way to avoid the elements. Well, with a windshield cover like this, there might indeed be a way after all. It’s thicker than I expected, and the materials feel quite good. It fits our 2013 Civic surprisingly well for a generic cover, and I’m pleased with the coverage area. It sits over the entire windshield, as well as a portion of the roof (or hood, depending on how you put it on). The only fit issue I noticed is that the side mirror pockets are much too large for our car, but that’s a minor complaint. We haven’t had a storm yet to test it, but I think it will work well. It’s a tad lighter than I expected, so you'll really need to use the straps to keep it tied down in the wind. Unfortunately, they’re the weakest link in this chain. The elastic is too stretchy, and the end clips are made from soft plastic. I presumed they’d have adjustment buckles so that you could achieve a custom fit, but they don’t. You just have to find something to wrap them around, and I can see that being a problem on some cars. Instead, I’m planning to cut the straps down to size and then tie the clip back on (or maybe just find a different clip entirely). At $29.74 these are priced similarly to competing products, but it would be a good idea to do a little comparison shopping before ordering. My rating: 4 stars

This cover is a godsend for our Canadian winters. It can be quite annoying to have to brush several inches of snow and scrape ice off your cars' windshield, especially if you're in a hurry to get going to your destination. This cover is touted as a one-size fits all, but I think it'll be too large for smaller cars. It fit just right on my mid-sized SUV effectively covering the entire front windshield. It measures approx. 87in x 57in.It was pretty easy to install. I draped it across the windshield and pulled the covers over both side mirrors. Then I used the straps at each corner to secure the cover at the front wheels and back doors. I tried hooking the straps through the rear wheel hubs but they weren't long enough and I felt it would be too much strain if I persisted. The straps are elasticized and have hooks at their ends for securing. I find that with the extreme cold weather they remained stretched, and I had to secure the strap as I would tie a rope using a knot. However, the cover did its job admirably and after a snowfall of several inches I removed it to reveal a pristine windshield totally free of snow and ice.I'm not sure if the straps would withstand gale force winds but if properly tied should not come loose. My other issue is that I did not receive the storage bag that showed in the description. It would be nice to have a bag to stow the folded cover when it's not being used. Also included was a snowbrush ice-scraper combo. It seems almost an afterthought. It is very lightweight and almost useless for our sometimes harsh wintry conditions. I have a heavy-duty snowbrush scraper that I will continue to use.I do like the cover. It is thick but yet it is lightweight. It is windproof, waterproof and weatherproof, and in my opinion it's money well spent.
