Installed the Saphue pickups in a telecaster special type of guitar. Wow they sound fantastic! In the nech I had a Seymour Duncan sh2n jazz pickup which sounds good, but the $15 Saphue blows it away. How can they sell a set of these Saphue pups for $30??Simply amazing. If you're thinking about getting the pickups it will be a fantastic $30 spent.

nice thickly wax potted. sound great. very similar to the FLEOR (which I also like)- mostly likely like the same manufacturer , just different branding.

100% recomendadas

OK, for starters, these are not Gibson's or Seymour Duncan's and it would be absurd to compare them to those or other high-end brands. What they are, though, is a good economical upgrade for an economy instrument, and in that niche they are great pickups.I had a Chinese made Squire Strat that had a little "accident" with the bridge humbucker, and I needed to replace the pickup. It made no sense to put a $200 pickup into a $250 guitar, so I went looking for something more appropriate and found these. Not only were they low-cost, but they actually sound better than the original generic pickup. Solidly built, good magnets, and wired so that you can split coils if desired. While some reviewers have complained about getting two bridge or two neck pickups, I did not have that issue. I got -- nicely boxed -- one bridge and one neck pickup, appropriately spaced and marked.I have two little caveats, neither one big enough to dock a star. First off, I wish an actual schematic had been included. I was able to sus-out the wiring and coil orientation with a digital multimeter, and amp, and some clip-leads -- but including of a simple line drawing would have made that unnecessary.Second caveat is that the pickup adjustment screws have r-e-a-l-l-y tiny heads. I was worried they were going to slip through the holes for the pickup I removed, so I added a small washer to each.Other than that -- I would have paid $25 for one of these. Getting two for that price was a steal.

For my project Grote LP style guitar, I wanted a humbucker set to replace some stock microphonic pickups (possibly Epi Burstbucker copies) that really squealed when medium drive overdrive pedals were engaged, even at lower volumes. Didn’t want to spring too much for Duncans which I usually would choose for my higher-end axes, and was thinking of checking out a pair of well-regarded imported Alnico 5s such as Wilkinsons or Fleors.During my search, I came across this Saphue set that had a good user review profile (truth verified by my meta-review analyzer), and also cost about 1/2 the price of the other 2 brands. Thinking it would be a low risk purchase, I went ahead and received these in 2 days.I love working on guitars as a craft, especially if it can greatly improve the quality of an instrument; like it more when the cost is minimal. These Saphue pickups fit this bill, and my guitar feels and plays like a new instrument with added clarity and brilliance, and most importantly NO ungodly feedback! I’d highly recommend giving these pickups a shot.

Got em to replace the humbuckers on my Ibanez Steve Vai signature, they looks great, color matches the guitar, for perfect on the pickguard, size is correct and they sound amazing, great value for the money and easy to install. My solos will sound 10 times better.

The good. They sound ok for what they are. They are pretty much the same no name pickups you get in low end import guitars from name brand companies Jackson/ltd/squire/shecter. So if your wanting to try out different magnets to see what it might sound like this is a good inexpensive option.I bought these for a test before I ended up buying seymore ducans with the same type of magnet and roughly the same output. The bad. Both pickups are bridge spaced even though the base plate is clearly stamped n and b. The wiring leads are smaller gauge then your normal 22awg this has to be close to 28awg if not thinner. All in all good for testing different types of pickups but I wouldn’t use them as a full time replacement because of the wrong pole spacing and the low quality wiring.

These pickups really surprised me. Nickel base plates not the cheaper brass, magnets are in fact alnico which is surprising at this price. Measured the DC resistance and got 15.05k on the bridge and 7.92k on the neck. The tone is very good. Cleans have that "bell like" quality to them. Into an overdriven amp they have great clarity and note separation on chords, harmonics ring out easily and they clean up really well with the guitar volume control. Tone wise the best comparison I can make is a Seymour Duncan Custom 5 for the bridge. I have this pickup in another guitar and as far as EQ curve and output level they are very, very similar. The neck is like a SD 59 with a touch more output and slightly less bright. There is no muddiness in the low end on either pickup and the treble is clear but not harsh. Output and tone wise the set balances extremely well. No volume jump switching back and forth and the EQ response of each pickup works great together so you don't have to live with a muddy neck tone or an overly bright bridge tone when you dial in an amp.Overall these really are every bit as good as the mass produced Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio, Gibson etc... pickups IMHO. At 25 bucks a set I think these are a steal.
