So these pickups look great, but that where it all stops. They "appeared" to be wax potted, meaning there was wax on the back, but there is no way they were properly wax potted.The pickups are extremely microphonic and they squeal, not feed back, with the slightest bit of gain (distortion, overdrive, ECT)Now I have to pull them out and wax pot them myself.I will update after wax potting.

I had serious doubts about these when I ordered them, but I wanted to replace my stock pickups and thought these looked cool.I was shocked by how good they sound, better than some Seymour Duncan’s I’ve had in the past. Nice and warm with good definition. The highs ring out without being shrill and the bridge pickup is nice and creamy. These are an upgrade from most budget guitar stock pickups and for the price you could do a lot worse.They look pretty good too.

I wanted a wide range humbucker for a budget telecaster and couldn't justify putting in a new fender wide range pickup, that I know sound fantastic but cost twice as much as my guitar. I decided to try this pickup because it had the look and you can't beat the price. Not only does it look great but it sounds great, and it's 4 wire so you can split the coils if you like! Sound is clear and full, and much more articulate than the stock humbucker. I highly recommend it!

Really nice wide range humbucker. I installed in the bridge if a 1 humbucker Ashthorpe Strat style guitar. This pickup sounds way better than the guitar’s stock humbucker- it’s hotter and way more detailed. I wasn’t expecting much due to the low price, but I’m pretty impressed with it. The pickup has nice long lead wires. Black is hot wire to the volume pot or switch, green/bare go to back of a pot or the switch to go to ground, and red/white wires were soldered to the middle lug of the volume push-pull pot. Tape the red/white wires if nit using them. Very simple install. The pickup is wax-potted and is surprisingly quiet. Ordered a set now- want to hear how the neck humbucker sounds.
