Commonly used in the Dog breeding world, but it can also be used with other PETS and animals. Shipmate takes control of both the cooling rate and the final temperature of the specimen. It employs a double-walled stainless steel flask encased in ice packs within an insulated foam shipping box. This unique design prevents rapid cooling, which can cause Cold Shock or freezing.

I used to use the disposable semen shipping boxes they worked OK unless there was a delay in shipping and then they were worthless. for the last few years I’ve been using Shipmate. It cost more initially but in the long run, I actually save money, because I use a Shipmate over and over again, but that’s not really the point.I don’t miss Breeding’s because the shipment got delayed and I get bigger litters because the semen shows up in better condition.The disposable boxes can’t control the temperature. They typically don’t get cold enough or occasionally they get too cold and freeze the semen . Shipmate controls the temperature, keeps track of it with a report, and the semen is in much better shape when it arrives which results in a more successful litters . I’m not using anything . I use Shipmate all of my shipments.
