When I was opening the bookend, it bent right away, I had to bend it back into place, not very sturdy material. But it does hold my binders in place for now!

Lightweight and fully functional. I bought four of them to use in my sewing room for my quilting books. It helps to keep the genre's separate so my time is no longer spent in hunting.To keep them lasting longer put your heavier books in the middle to put less stresson ends and open it a little at a time as you fill it. It does not seem to squish down as smoothly as it opens up.Yes I plan to buy more!

It helps keep my 3 ring binders from falling over if I pull out 1 or 2.

They have done what I needed them to do. They hold the books and because they have spacers every few inches the children can pull out a book or a number of books and the rest stay in place without falling over. They seemed a little flimsy when I first set them up but once they were placed and the books installed they have worked great!!
