Holds mic in place perfectly. I love the fact that they’re nice and small don’t show up well. Easy to hide if you need to.

We have several Shure Lavs with the smaller diameter mic cable. These clips fit the bill!

Replacement for an existing Shure SM93 lapel mic. The reviews deailing the weak point being the wire grip is true. So we were careful to warm the clip (making it flex easier without breaking) before pressing the wire into the groove. Actually shocked that Shure's quality control has not changed the plastic to a less brittle formula yet (Shure has always been 1st rate quality products and extremely durable for us)

This clip works just like the original that was furnished with the microphone. It did take a bit of effort to insert the cable into the clip & therefore puts stress on the clip. I suspect that it may fail in the future. I like to keep a spare on hand.

Very happy with the new clips. They work as they are supposed to holding the mic wire securely.

These Shure clips work fine for the Shure WL93 lapel mic and probably their other lapel mics.. I have two issues with them though. The wire is fairly difficult to insert into the clip. You really have to get a small flat blade screwdriver to push it in fully. Just be careful because the WL93 wire is pretty delicate. The other issue I have with these is that the clip is pretty fragile in general. These have been this way for around 20 years (or ever since the WL93 mic came out). If you step on one it is a good chance it will be broken. If you push too hard when inserting the wire they can break that way too.You would think after a decade Shure would design a new clip with new plastic. The bottom line is that you always should have a spare or two around.BTW...a paper clip will work as a backup if you do not have a spare.

Worked as expected. Fit the mic well. Use it on my lapel mic at church. Compact but hold to tie or jacket well.
