Siemens circuit breaker enclosure is rated at 60 Amps max and will accept a variety of breaker options. Two single pole breakers, one double pole breaker, or four 1/2-inch frame breakers with a total Amperage of 60 Amps. The enclosure is indoor rated and intended for a Surface mount installation. Breaker not included.

good product, used for 50 amp gfci for car charger. be aware siemens includes a 125a main lug load center in their gfci spa pack because its a tight fit for a gfci breaker in this 60 amp unit. also doesnt come with a grounding bar connection, you will need to purchase that seperately. this is the good quality you can expect from siemens.

Where we live, we get Lightning. Just a while ago, we had a strike that hit a main power line sending a surge down all the lines. In our area everything is underground, so that tells you for sure it was out in the system on the primary lines. After that, our built-in 240 volt Microwave oven freaked out. After a complete shutdown and reboot, it was decided to put a whole house surge protector in. Well a number of appliances obviously are hard wired, so adding surge protectors would be really difficult. Then the issue was no more spaces in the main panel where the surge protector was to be installed. This sub-panel did the trick, giving us the two needed spaces for 240 single phase connection.
