This pump is okay. Itโs nice but you have to clean it at least once a week or it smells like fish tank. We had to buy a sooo many filters and a brand new pump (if it runs out of water overnight the pump will break) I just ordered a gravity water bowlโฆthis water fountain is getting too expensive and not even worth the buy.

Just got this delivered today and after setting it up and filling it with water the light flashes red 8 times then blue 3 times then back to red and thatโs all it would do. I checked the connection, wall outlet, used the cleaning instructions for the pump to make sure nothing was beijg blocked internally and had the water to the fill line. Instruction booklet has troubleshoot remedies but this error wasnโt even in the book! Something tells me the pump is defective because I donโt know what else it could be. Being returned asap. Also Iโm wondering why the box had Amazon security stickers all over it. Maybe it was a return too?

I chose the Homerunpet Wireless Pump Pet Fountain for it's size and simplicity of cleaning. It is quiet and works very well for my cat. Now that she's used it for about six weeks, I am ready to change the filter. Much to my disappointment, the Homerunpet replacement filters come with the plastic holder; not separately, through Amazon. The plastic holder included with the fountain is completely REUSABLE. This is very environmentally unsustainable and wasteful, not to mention more expensive. I would have looked for another fountain had I realized this at the time of purchase.

I was cat sitting for a friend of mine, and they brought their cats water fountain with them. My cat started using it, so imagine how unhappy she was when they took her new cat buddy and her water fountain away a few weeks later lmaoI had to get her her own after that, and I found this. Assembly was super easy, even without the instructions. It looks just like the pictures, and it holds a LOT of water. I won't have to refill this for at least two weeks, maybe more. It comes in layers too, which makes cleaning it super easy, and all the pieces are thin yet durable. I highly doubt it'll break or crack very easily. It overall seems like a great fountain, and the replacement filters aren't expensive at all. I'm happy and my cats happy, so I'm gonna give this a 10/10

Wireless pump feature makes cleaning and refilling easy. Large water reservoir = less time refilling. The monthly filters keep the water fresh and serve as a reminder to clean the unit. Flashing light = time to clean.I had issues with the pump at the 6 month mark but the company was very helpful.Recommend

I bought my first Homerunpet water fountain at an estate sale a few months ago. The cats seem to like the fountain, there is a shallow pool of water (not a deep dish) with a water bubble where the water comes from the pump. The cats love the moving water, and I have it set to run constantly just for them. I am not a fan of the intermittent setting, but would like to have a motion activation pump if that were to come available. The pump is powered by induction, so there are no contacts or plugs in the water, just set it in the tub and you are done. After running the fountain for a month or so, my cat sitter managed to drop the pump onto the floor (from the counter top) while cleaning it, and the pump never ran again. After thinking about it, I was prompted to buy a second unit (this particular one), since it was the best fountain I have ever used, and trust me, I have had many, each with their own good and bad points. This unit is relatively easy to clean (they even send a cleaning package with the fountain), it is very quiet, there are no wires running into the water, and the shallow pool seems to be preferred by the cats.I did notice that the "quiet" part of the operation is interrupted when the filter starts to get clogged, you will start to hear water dripping into the tank when the filter can't pass the water fast enough - I consider this an indicator that the filter needs to be replaced, so I don't have to mark my calendar to figure out when to change the filter.

We were introduced to this pump at a friendโs house who used it for her cat. Our 2 chihuahuas enjoyed drinking out of it so much, we got them one. Six months later weโre still using it. it is very quiet. Lights indicate when it needs to be filled and when filter needs changing. Weโve found you have to be careful which brand of filer you use. The one made by the company would last at least 6 weeks. We got an odd brand and had to replace it every two days. Itโs too bad they didnโt come up with a filter that you could put in the plastic frame. It would be more environmentally efficient if the plastic holder where the filter goes could be reused. It seems like such a waste to discard the whole filer. The only problem we have is after you add water or replace the filter, we have a little problem getting the filter in the correct location so that the top, where the pets get water, fits properly and the water flows. If this piece that holds the filter is not set correctly, the fountain will not work. Other than those couple of hiccups, itโs almost perfect and I do recommend this to my friends and would purchase it again, myself.

I love this pet fountain and so do my cats. It is a little small for my three dogs though. I will say this is my second purchase. The first one lasted exactly one year and buying a pump only did not fix the problem. But it is so easy to use and to clean. And whisper quiet.
