I WAS in love, then we took a 90 mile ride. Almost lost 2 screws in cushion because the screw inserts were coming out. Already can't tighten them down. If I want to keep the look gonna have to rebuild it myself. You are better off spending a little more on better quality

I really like the idea of this backrest. Having the ability to adjust the angle of the passenger backrest seems like a great idea, and enticed me to order this. I wasn't crazy about the skull design on the back, but fortunately had another triangle mount (from another backrest) laying around the garage so I used that instead. After getting past the cheesy skull, I assembled the backrest... Which was easy enough. The real trouble started when I tried to install it on my bike (a 2020 Harley-Davidson Road Glide), which this is advertised to fit. It simply will not fit the Harley docking Hardware. After wrestling with it for several minutes, I finally pulled the side brackets off just to check the alignment with the docking hardware... This is when I found that the side brackets actually hit the fender support rails before they ever get close to locking into the docking hardware. In short, it's never going to fit... at least on my bike anyway.Your mileage may vary, but based on my experience with this backrest I would not recommend it.

The backrest was packaged well so the parts would not rub together. The assembly wasn’t difficult. The install was a bit tricky. The locks just did not want to go onto the standoffs. I put a very small amount of lubricant on them and then it kicked on perfectly.While not a super high quality product, it does the job fine and doesn’t look half bad with the skull design.

Looks great. Strong material. Very well made. Easily assembled. The quick disconnect parts come with keys and are lockable.
