I originally got it for my cat but he never really used it for wet food or anything so when I got guinea pigs I've been using it for them! It's great for daily veggies and pellets! It's been serving me well for quite a while.

My cat gobbles her food, to the extent that for years ive been using the side by side bowl and seperating it out, adding water and feeding on a schedule so she isnt constantly sick. She hates lick mats which is what most slow feeders for cats are. But this is awesome! It slowed her down and wasnt so challenging that she got frustrated. I love this bowl!

Purchased for a cat that eats too fast and vomits, she has gone from 2 minutes to eat to 6 minutes!! So far so good and it’s a cute dish

I’m writing this review 4 months after purchasing. So when I opened the box, I was surprised because they are heavier than I imagined, which makes them very sturdy and durable. I have 3 cats: 2 small under 8 pound cats and 1 medium 8-12 point cat. and they are all different. My male cat is the biggest and eats very fast and the 2 females cats are smaller and one of my females is the one that pukes the most, but in general they were throwing up 3, possibly 4 times a week with their regular bowls. Now it took a few weeks for them to adjust, but they don’t throw up at all anymore since purchasing these. I give them wet cat food and I use a small bendable spoon to push the food down into the bowl so they have to dig for it a little bit. But I noticed that now They eat slower because they spend more time licking the food up. 10 minutes later, I check on them and see that they are still eating. Overall great purchase and I’m so glad I bought them.

This item has been amazing for my cats who eat too fast. I wanted something ceramic to avoid cat acne and this was the best option. It’s a little pricier than plastic but worth it! I use it with wet and dry food, it is easy to clean, dishwasher safe and a great size.

It is perfect for my Calico. It slows her down and she has no issue getting to the food around the higher peaks of the dish. I would definitely suggest this to friends or family with over eager eaters.

This is to high for my cat. He couldn’t eat the dry food or treats I put in. After trying several times he just gave up even when his favorite treats were in there. Good quality though.

This product is very sturdy - it seems quite well made - but it didn't work for our cat. The pieces that stick out were way too high, and every time he tried to go in for a kibble we could hear his teeth hitting the ceramic and he was in obvious discomfort. We of course had to remove the dish immediately. This might better suit dogs with long tongues that can get in between the parts that stick out, or for a cat who uses their paw to bring food to their mouth. As it stands, it did not work for us and we had to get a different design of dish instead.

This is my 2nd time trying a slow feeder, and this one is so much better than the one I had before! The other one I had made it too difficult for the cat to get at the food, with too many crevices that were way too narrow, and all it did was frustrate my poor cat. I eventually had to abandon the experiment. This feeder, on the other hand, is just right! It definitely slows him down so that he's not inhaling is food in a matter of seconds, as he did before, but at the same time, he can actually get at his morsels with a little adjusting and pawing, so he's not getting frustrated.So this is a winner. Being dishwasher safe makes for easy clean up, too. (Pain in the a$$ to clean by hand though.)
