I rescued my kitty about 5 yrs ago. He has a very sensitive tummy. If he eats moist cat food, he pukes. If he eats dry cat food to fast, he pukes. I’ve probably cleaned up puke almost every day for the last 5 yrs. I’ve tried everything from feeding him in small amounts and spacing his meals to buying one of those tilting cat dishes that help them swallow it better. Nothing helped, he’d puke. I seen this dish and thought I’d give it a try. It’s been over 2 weeks and no puking, not one time!!

It appears to be to shallow, my kitties eat of their allotment rather quite easily.

Our kitty downs her food so quickly that she ends up throwing up on sometimes. Vet confirmed that it wasn’t serious, but recommended a slow feeder bowl.We got this one and it’s made zero difference — she still inhales her food and makes herself sick. Would recommend one with deeper and more narrow grooves instead.

Slows eating down but does not make it too difficult

My senior dog is missing most of her teeth, so her tongue hangs out of her mouth and is very dry and swollen. She eats her wet food too fast in a regular bowl and vomits, so I started buying my slow feeders for her. The problem is most dog slow feeders are too intricate for her tongue due to her mouth issues. This one is perfect for her. It slows her down as not to throw up her food but the design isn’t so crowded that she can’t get her tongue in between the raised parts.
