  • No, the gateway only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and is not compatible with 5GHz networks. Therefore, if your WiFi setting is a mix of 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, please set your WiFi router to use 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands respectively.

  • Up to 24 sensors (model: WD77) are supported to connect to the gateway. Please note: Only the upgraded model WD77 is supported to connect, not the basic model WD76, so please be careful to identify it before purchasing!

  • The water sensors placement name can be customized. The app allows you to customize each sensor, including renaming them and selecting the sound volume and tones the sensor makes when a leak is detected.

  • The TUYA APP is user-friendly for monitoring leaks. Most Customers appreciate receiving prompt notifications when leaks are detected.

  • Of course!! It is easy to install and set up the sensors in different locations. The detectors pair to the central alarm automatically and the product comes with clear setup instructions.

The instructions were so helpful. I view the small price I paid for this product as nothing more than an insurance premium and money well spent for peace of mind. After setting it up, I put a couple of drops of water on the sensor, and the audio alarm went off, as did the alerts I immediately received on my iPhone! It worked just as designed. If I am home and there is a water leak, I will know it before any significant damage is incurred. If I am away from home, I can call a neighbor or relative to go over to my house to shut the water off.

This water leak detector has been my salvation. I have several problems to solve in the house and I was tired of water leaking and not realizing it. They recommended this product to me and I bought it without thinking twice. It works perfectly. As soon as it touches water it starts to sound very loud. It is super easy to use and very useful. We had a leak and caused so much damage under the sink because we didn’t know it was leaking! This would have saved us so much if we had it. Since we got it we have not had any leaks. I have treated this and it works with as little as one drop!!!! May have for under sinks and near showers and toilets

Thankfully I had just installed this! It's a great detector. After a freeze, I had a pipe burst near my shower. This detector alerted my husband and we were able to correct the leak before a major flood.
