As someone else mentioned, they are great for light recreational snorkeling in shallow waters.

I ordered this for a trip coming up to Bermuda and I'm looking forward to using it this, I will likely update my review after the trip. However I did use it in my friend's pool and it worked great. I would not call the flippers high end by any means, but they get the job done! the mask held well on my face and the snorkel worked great. It also comes with a great bag to carry the gear to the beach and I think it's going to work perfectly on my vacation!If you are looking for high end gear, I would likely find a different solution.After the Trip. The gear was easy to travel with. The flippers worked better than I expected and I was glad we had them with us. Also the snorkel part worked great. I very impressed who it kept the water out of the snorkel. My only face-mask worked fine. I had some trouble making it have a solid seal on my face, but it really was not an issue for me and it could have been a user error.Overall review, if you are looking for high end equipment, likely not the right gear for you. However if you are looking for vacation gear, pool gear, looking to get in to the hobby, this is likely a good starter set. I receive it for free, but the price on the site seems very reasonable for you get. If I had to rent similar equipment when I was on vacation, it was about the same price as buying this snorkel set. The big difference is I can keep this and no one else is using it before me. I think it's a fine product.

I got these for my son as he recently discovered that he likes snorkeling (at least in a pool) and wants to try it on his own when he goes to the beach. He has not yet had a chance to actually use it there, but has tried it on and says that the mask seems to fit snugly, but is not uncomfortable, and the mouthpiece is comfortable to use. The flippers adjust easily and cover almost his entire foot. There is toe room in the front and most of the foot is protected. The flippers are flexible enough he a walk in them (although he says now he knows what penguins feel like). He likes that the ensemble comes in a net-sided bag which makes it easy to carry and lets water drain efficiently. On the whole, it is a good set for a beginner snorkeler to use and become accustomed to.

I am new to snorkeling, so I wanted to try out this set with the flippers without having to pay a high price. The goggles are comfortable because of the silicone and is mostly leak free. I don't like my goggles too tight, and I have a wide face, so a little water can get through if I don't have them super tight.The snorkel fits on either side of the strap with a clip, but it tends to sit on my ear (because of the clip size) which can get uncomfortable. The fins are small but work well for my needs, and the size makes it easy to pack in a carry-on. The fins also fit a variety of sizes - my husband wears a size 13 and was able to use these.My only complaint is that occasionally when I am breathing in through the mouthpiece, it will stop airflow even when the snorkel is out of the water. I will have to blow in to the mouthpiece to get airflow; sometimes I need to come out of the water for air and blow into the snorkel a couple times for it to work again. I think a piece may be broken? Unfortunately, I didn't bring the second attachment with me to see if that was the problem, so I still need to do some investigating. Overall, it is a good beginner set, especially for the price.

All in all, I like this Snorkeling Gear Set. True, that it's a fairly standard set given the items provided: Adjustable Short Fins, Anti-Fog Mask, 3-Piece Dry Top Snorkel, and Gear Bag. That said, it's a complete snorkel kit that functions fairly well, seems well constructed, and hasn't had any major leaks or fogging issues. The fins adjust to size and the snorkel pieces fit together well. If you're going on vacation and planning to snorkel, this would be a solid, yet inexpensive set to bring along. The overall color scheme and design of this snorkel set is also attractive. So while it's not the most expensive or feature packed set of snorkeling equipment, it still gets the job done. I would order this Snorkeling Gear Set again.

I got this for travel/roadtrip. I don't like to carry big fins as it takes space and weight, these ones I will consider them to be medium.
