This is the 2nd or 3rd pair of cordless battery socks I've tried - and by far the BEST. These heat the entire foot, top, bottom and sides - others heat the sole only. These also have heat on the calf area. They can be controlled with your phone. They are made from a fabric designed to breathe, dry easily and be comfortable to wear. Even for a long time. There's even a quick heat feature. Now for the reason I deducted a star...and trust me, I really do love everything about these socks except the battery capacity/life. The rechargeable battery has a 2200mAh rating - and that is a very low capacity. The description states the socks will heat on low for 8 hours. I think that is stretching it a bit. When I see socks priced >$100, maybe I expect a lot - but I think they should have a much more impressive quality and higher capacity battery - especially since the battery operated heating feature IS the only thing that justifies the price.

These socks come in handy now that it’s cold. They have 3 heat settings to choose from, and warm up quickly. I do like the app, as I can turn them on without bending over and pushing a button like most heated socks. If you’re not into apps you can push the button on the side of the socks to operate. The battery is on the side in a little pocket, and can be bulky if you’re sleeping in them. I use them for doing my outside farm work , so it doesn’t bother me.

I did not use any of the bluetooth functionality, but they heat up well and last a good while.

This was my third order for heated socks first pair one battery would not stay on. The second pair the app would not stay connected and had a place on my foot that would burn you till you couldn’t wear them. Ordered snow deer the third Ryan’s they work perfect and battery life is great. Highly recommend!

These socks are amazing! I love that I can control the temperature on my phone!! Very comfortable. I didn't feel the wires like I have in other brands. Good battery life. I wore these all day, and the batteries held up all day.

These are attractive, thick socks, nice looking. I ordered these in M for a friend. I'm probably and XL - the mediums would not allow me to pull the socks up to my knees, but that' probably about right. First thing is to charge the batteries, which means plugging them in to a two-plug in cable and plugging it into electrical power. The light at the electrical power end is red, and you should charge until it turns green - about 3 hours. Here's some tricky things: on the wire in the socks where you store the battery, the plug doesn't appear to fit. The reason is there's a plastic cap over the plug in end. The manual doesn't refer to this, nor does it say you should use it when washing the socks. But you have to pull the cap off before it will plug in. I'm saving the little caps for washing, but this is very confusing!. The next tricky thing is storing the battery in the sock. The manual mentions a zipper. There is no zipper. I stored the battery by tucking it in, but it was clear to me that it would eventually slide down the sock. After studying the Amazon page I discover if you carefully examine the top of the sock you will find there's an open place through which you can store the battery. So finally ready to go.The heat strip goes down the leg to the toes of the sock. There are several settings. It seems to work ok. There are more details in the manual. This comes with an app that can be downloaded and used on your phone. A cool idea, but after all the other machinations I wasn't inclined to try it - and doubt if the receipient of my gift will either. At least not now, technology fatigue!!I like the socks, think they might be a bit better than the ones I recently bought at half price, but unless you are putting a high value on the blue tooth interface with your phone I think they are way overpriced. I doubt any of the heated socks last forever, so I would be inclined to try some less expensive first. If the vendor can be clearer about how to get started (and please put the bluetooth instruction in the back of the manual so the user won't get frustrated and not set up the socks at all), and lower the price a bit, these might rank very high on my list of heated socks!

I have Snow Deer heated gloves, and they are absolutely the best. The socks are good but average due to the fit. They are very comfortable in terms of the material and for the most part, you can't tell you're wearing heated socks since there isn't a cable inside that you can feel as you wear them. The Bluetooth feature is really cool since you don't have immediate access to the controls like you would with gloves. The fit is really the issue: They are designed to be over-the-calf socks but there is no way they have a large enough diameter to fit most people. if you pull them all the way up, you'll have compromised circulation at worst and a painful mark on your leg at best. So that leaves you with having them bunched up over your shoes or boots. It's not a problem, but I don't think this is the intended design. So 3 stars; average for this otherwise awesome brand.
