I used this to turn air on and off for a small air nozzle. Worked great for a few months and now it wont turn off reliably.

As soon as water pressure was apllied it made loud vibrating noise and leaked past valve. I switched the AC power on and off , also lowering the incoming water pressure to barely on. Within 2 hours the vibrating noise had stopped, however the valve would NEVER close completely, in other words it never worked…a huge waste of time and copper plumbing and wiring efforts. I will probably go to a 12volt selonoid valve next after I purchase a 12 volt regulated power supply

Put it on an old Chicago radiator's air valve. The thermostat is on the first floor of this old apartment, us and our radiator are on the second. We love the radiant heat, but all the steam comes up to the second floor during deep winter. I connected it to a digital temp controller. Now it's not 90 up here when it's negative temps outside. It's held up since 2021. Some companies make devices for this purpose, but they're very expensive by comparison. It does make a bit of noise though, a small buzzing sound when it's on. So 4 out of 5 stars. Tried tightening the nut, which helps, but it's still just a bit noisy. I plan to further inspect it in the summer to see if I can solve it. Might just need to be cleaned.

I got tired of replacing the solenoid on my Hardy H2. The OEM units are good for about two years at twice the price. I added a six inch 3/8 copper pipe to dissipate the heat. If this solenoid will work for a couple years I cut my cost.

I’m using it to drain water from an air compressor tank and after several months it still works as described. It is timed to open for 1 minute once a day.

I converted a pressure cooker to an autoclave and used this to regulate the temperature/pressure. It works great. It doesn’t leak. Also it opens and closes very quickly with less than a second of delay. I will be buying more to make more autoclave sterilizers.
