This is a beautiful plant and arrived in perfect condition even though it was on the road since Monday and it's Friday afternoon and it's been in a lot of heat. It was delivered to the right place but I didn't even know it was here so it could have endured even more heat. It's absolutely grand, large and a real bargain for $15.00. I'm very satisfied.

So 1st - so very pleasantly surprised at visuals on arrival. 20-ish buds ready, dark green leaves all of them and strong trunk - yay! Yes, giftable too at arrival. Pot was logo'd appropriately, dirt healthy, plant ready to bloom (purchased end of April 2024).Yes, they bloomed, and it is spectacular. I repotted it in a larger wheely bottom-watering pot on the patio, which gets about 4 hours direct sun in the morning/summer.It is water hungry. To those who have had issues growing and keeping alive, I feel for ya. It takes days to get used to what watering makes it happy, and what makes it unhappy. Once happy, the blooks spread like fireworks. I was unaware it was a miniature gardenia - no worries, I never knew there was such a thing. On our patio, it works that they are mini blooms even better! On the smell, as in other reviews, the smell of each flower is either very very weak, or not at all. I am not sure what determines that a plant has that huge aroma. Maybe "miniature gardenias" have no aroma naturally, I wouldn't know. I have only had a huge yard full-size gardenia bush about 7 foot tall I nursed for 20 years until I moved, and where each full-size bloom blew ya away with its lovely aroma. In a small-ish room or office they were just joyful! Mini-gardenias won't be that way.But again, what determines whether blooms on mini-gardenias have a smell from slight to not-at-all, when the blooms opened a week after arrival? Or is that determined at the moment that gardenia plant sprouted at the seller's/grower's? That might be affected after it arrives at purchaser's and before they bloom by water etc. What I do know is that this mini-gardenia, from this seller, April 2024, sent me a plant that visually was an incredibly healthy plant, lush green and round appearing happy, with so many blooms it was just incredible. I will buy from this seller again, and I am not sure it is fair to blame the seller at all if the bloom scent is scant-to-none, so I am clearing that rating. And will I be confident as of this first experience with this seller, that I can blindly gift these to others and they will arrive in similar healthy and no-disappointments condition? Absolutely. And a mention: It came thoughtfully and carefully packed in an appropriate box/markings and I was separately impressed that sellers shipping care was taken to that level of priority also.

I have ordered plants from different places in the past. I was thrilled to open my Gardenia, it was fresh and beautiful green so healthy . I was amazed at how well it had been packed and taken so much time to make sure I would be pleased. Thank you so much ,I will be ordering more plants in the future.

My plan arrived fairly well wrapped. I had a few concerns about the leaves having been trimmed. When the plant was prepared for shipping, they actually just kinda chopped it like you would’ve bush outside and they cut off about half of the leaves so there’s half a leave on the plant and the other half is gone. The plant was bright green, which I was happy to see, however, there were some yellowing leaves on it and it has continued to turn yellow. I’m hoping this is just from the adjustment of shipping and finding a new home so I’m praying that it comes back because I absolutely love gardenias and hoping that this plant survives.

I was very happy when I received my order. It more than I expected. I perched plant from Amazon two time before (not from this seller) and was disappointed both times. I told myself not to buy plants online anymore. But when I saw the picture of this plant I thought I would like to get it and try it one more time.I am so glad I did. The plant came quick enough it healthy looking plant with a lot of flowers buds on it. Every thing of this order, the size of the plant the price and the condition of the plant are all good.Thank you so much for selling the good quality item.

Gardenias require constant care once in your home, as they are NOT independent survivers. They do not like alot of water as you'd think. I transplanted and surrounded the girl with fresh, nutrient rich soil immediately, then I did NOT love it too much by overwatering, though it's a beautuful aromatic life form !!! AND trust me, it loves coffee (grounds) more than I do!!! So it's an acid loving plant. Apply to top when transplanting.Miracle grow (water soluble, acid living plant food) per box directions should be used when watering conservatively. It does like shade in zones thatbget hot and humid. Both plants (bought 2) arrived well packed and in excellent condition. No breaks, yellowing or too wet. If you love the scent, you need to do the work to make thrive!
