Right out of the box I recognized the SPAL quality. I bought a few of these for a special project for cooling a custom vehicle. Purchased on size and airflow alone, I was convinced that this was the way to go. I was wrong. Very loud and I'm betting the airflow is nowhere near the advertised 437CFM. The motor takes up half the fan face - there is a very noticeable dead spot in the airflow right there. The rest of the flow is not linear at all - it wants to "spin" off to the sides.. not the best thing for cooling, unless you have this fan in a circular housing to direct the air. Otherwise, the air will just be turbulent and go nowhere.

Can not believe the savings of 1/2 the price of the manufacturer. Airflow is amazing. This thing keeps my Grizzly 660 way under temp through some of the harshest mud and swamps down here in the Sunshine state.

The fan is a little louder that I thought it would be. But other than that it does just what I wanted it to.
