When I order a spool of cable for my shop, I was expecting a cable on a spool so I could mount it on my cable rack. Nope. What I got was a length if wire coiled ip in a bag.

I have been purchasing both copper and CCA wire and have found that pure copper is safer and holds the crimps better too. Using CCA wire in solar installations above 50 amps has produced some scorching on the breakers for unknown reasons. For safety reasons, I am a true believer in pure copper wire and the seller as I buy most of my stuff from them.

I'm a solar installer, and we used to use welding cable for battery wiring, but didn't like that it wasn't UL Listed, and it has a more "rubbery" finish. This is a tiny bit thicker, but it's far better than what we used to use.
